The is the best children's toy and gift stores I have been to in a long time. Unlike the bigger stores, the staff is helpful and knowledgeable and they have an amazing selection of toys and gifts that you can trust will be fun for your kids but oftentimes also educational. Whether it be for a newborn or a 12-year-old they have great items you and your kids will love!
Pros: A great selection of toys and gifts; friendly knowledgeable staff!

Having heard about this store from several friends I finally found it tucked behind the Subway in the Northfield Village Center on Happ Rd. It is a smallish store packed with toys, games, arts and crafts, books, Webkinz, party favors, all the good stuff for birth to about 12. The owner taught school and seems to have very thoughtfully cherry-picked all the best lines for a really good mix. Lots of educational play value. and just plain fun. Even the workers there told me they see something new every time they walk around. I had too many choices... They know a lot about kids books too, and were in the book business for 25 years, just stopping in September to conentrate on the store full time.It is also Very kid and shopper friendly, with free gift wrapping and shipping available anywhere in the USA (not free). They are open 7 days a week. There is also a lot of custom stuff that is personalized by the owner hand-painting it or it being sent out for monogramming. Someone has worked very hard to create a place that is lots of fun and full, and constantly changing! I have been back there twice...Once you find it it is very convenient to get to (just off Willow Rd and near the Edens Expressway) and the parking is good (unless the yoga studio upstairs is having a class).
Pros: Great Mix and Variety of products, knowledgeable staff, great service
Cons: Needs a bigger space-only about 2000sq ft
