Absolutely *terrible* at delivery

Fresh Choice had so much going for it; I used to order from them twice a week, but I've finally gotten fed up with their terrible service and rude staff.

About every other time I order from Fresh Choice, they make a glaring omission to my order, forgetting one item or screwing up another. Every time I called them on this, they promised to write my name down on a list, along with the forgotten item, and send it to me free the next time. You think they kept track of this grade-A system? Not a chance.

They also provide incorrect information to GrubHub (the wrong amount for a minimum order), then unilaterally cancel your order without telling you because they're not satisfied with the amount of food you've ordered. They did this to me today, and when I called the woman was so unbelievably rude I let her know I would leave a review and warn other people about how terrible their service is.

If you want fresh sandwiches, try Ashkenaz Deli on the Gold Coast. If you want a healthy option, try Flat Top Grill just down North Ave. If you want juice bar options, order from Aladdin's. Just don't waste your time and money on Fresh Choice.

• Pros: Not many places have veggie juice
• Cons: Food is often cold, delivery is terrible.

Stole money from me

Do not trust this restaurant. This restaurant overcharged me and refused to refund the money. That is theft. If I went in and stole money out of their register, or underpaid and walked out, I would be stealing from them, why is what they did any different? Expect the businesses you patronize to do the right thing and act ethically, and don't support thieves and cheats.

• Cons: Do the right thing and take your business elsewhere

Love the soup!

I go here a least once a week and I guess to each their own, because I love the tomato basil soup! I appreciate the fact that it's hearty and not something i could sip through a cocktail straw. I also highly recommend a blueberry and banana smoothie. It's delicious, enjoy!

Terrible soup. Avoid the Tomato Basil.

I ordered the Tomato Basil soup thinking I was getting soup and instead received marinara sauce. Neither delicious nor tasty, this soup was thick and chunky like chili and as I swallowed the first bite, I was certain I was eating sauce. Chunks of cashews are not innovative and interesting but rather annoying and confusing. I would recommend going to your local grocery store and purchasing a can of Campbell's condensed soup before considering this. I am very disappointed that I wasted my money.
