good shcool as long as you go the son
by Elaine Nardo
the father is too old and should not be on the road! the son is really who i learned to drive from, unfortunately the son is not there much and he only teaches in the evenings. So I just took what I learned from the son and got my license.
- Pros: it's cheap and Louis is a good teacher
- Cons: don't pick-up, father too old, son isn't there enough
Satisfied to the core

I had never (never ever) driven before, hence I was a bit anxious. I took classes from Luois, he is a very good teacher. He understands your constraints, encourages you when u do good and is a constrcutive critic you when you make a mistake.
Frankly speaking I chose this school as this was the most economical and I was not sure how many classes I wud require...
It need me just 4 classes before I went for the test. The test went very smoothly, and my examiner was pretty satisfied.
I have my drivers license and I am over the moon now :)
Dont waste your money
by riteshbindal
This is the worst person I have ever seen in my life.
He comes late and leaves you early. In this process, he just taught me for 1 hour and was asking money for 2 hours.
When I told him that I wont pay you for 2 hours, he cancelled my next appointment which I booked for second class.
He was asking you to drive at 10 mph and it was damn frustrating.
He talks so slowly that you wont even understand what he is saying.
He also constantly shouts and abuses you if you are not a perfect driver (even when you are driving for the first time).
I dont know how ppl found his sense of humour good, but that was really sarcastic and ridiculous.
I suggest you to spend 10 more bucks and go to some good classes.
Dont even think of going here else you will regret later that you have totally wasted your money.
- Pros: 10 bucks less than other classes
- Cons: No punctuality, unprofessional, unethical, wastage of money.
worst place for learning to drive
by sally11111
This is the worst driving school. Any school will be better than this one. The old guy is the most unprofessional person I have seen in my life. He forgets appointments, is always late and keeps you waiting, discourages your driving so that he can get more hours and hence more money so don't be fooled looking at the per hour cost, which is relatively cheaper. Please don't waste your money here.
Not even worth trying
by aljos77
Don't even bother trying this school. The old guy Amilio rescheduled twice and made excuses every time and canceled the appointment. When I tried to reschedule for a lesson he plainly refused saying Lawrence and Damen or Superior and Fairbanks is too far and wanted me to come to the driving school to take the lesson. He also said that the only other instructor, his son, only does classes in the evening and so I should find a different school. Very rude and very very unprofessional. Any school should be better than this one.
The old guy is the best!

OK. So I got the old guy as my instructor as well. Hello people....he is the owner of the company and he is way more alert than what he lets on. He will teach you how to drive if you can get over the fact that he will not let you do speed limit right away. He does that because you are a new driver. Duh! If other drivers have a problem with you driving slowly well you have a huge sign on top of the car that says "driving school". Those drivers can just go around you. I had 6 two hours sessions and he took me to the DMV before taking the test so that I can become familiar with what they will ask me to do. I was fully prepared and got my license on the first try. The very next day I rented a car and guess what? I got to do the speed limit (and beyond). So for all of you crybabies who couldn?t stand going at slower pace while learning, just deal with it! You have the rest of your lives to do the speed limit. WARNING: the old guy has a crazy sense of humor. I figured out quick that I could at the same time drive and laugh so hard that my ribs were going to explode. I found myself looking forward to my lessons not only to learn to drive but to see what he was going to come up with next!
ITS CHEAP BUT NOT GOOD...
by gsg_33
This driving school is only good if your instructor is Luis... If its his father who usually teach you will learn nothing... he will force you to drive at 10 to 15 kph.. very slow and everyone in the street will be horning and raising the dirty finger. This come from personal experience, I took 8 lessons and I did not learn to drive... then i went to a another driving school and took 6 hours then i got my DL.... THis is the cheapest Driving school ever..
Knows the rules of the road!
by missgenius
I went to this school. As someone says he is old - yes he is old. But, no he did not ask me to drive at 10mph in any case... I think he would do that only when someone was learning to drive. I already knew how to drive but just needed to practice with the rules in USA so I kept between 20-25mph. They teach you how to manouvre the car with the least possible turns and twists. The school staff was also pretty friendly and helpful. Overall, I think if you are looking for a driving school then you should go here. One last thing- A lot depends on the examiner taking your road test.
- Pros: experienced teacher, decently priced
oops !

Cheap prices for cheap service
My instructor was so old that probably he should not be driving nor giving instructions any more. I watched him parking once, he was corecting his monuver at least 4 times before he parked ok, I think that guy should not be an driving instructor any longer, beside that, when we drove he ask me to go 10mph under the speed limit in the city, everybody was honking at us. Horrible experience !!!. Do not go there if you want to learn how to drive, belive me there are better schools.
great value!

I looked around and this school offered the best price ($50 for 2 hrs). I had not touched a car for 9 years but passed the test after 12 hrs of lessons. For the last lesson, the instructor will take you to the test center to tell you all the necessary points.
