Dr. Kahn is amazing! His pre-op explanations are clear and straightforward; his manner is kind and reassuring; and he performed a tricky surgery on me with consummate skill (unsurprising, given his 30 years of experience). He and his wife (also Dr.) made a wonderful team. The entire experience could have been nightmarish--instead, it was almost relaxing. Dr. Kahn was quite gentle, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the option to choose background music during the operation was hugely soothing. Literally the only additional thing I would recommend to people is that they get an additional soft ice pack (beyond the one that Dr. Kahn's office provides). I found that it helped the swelling to have 2 and switch them out. If I, or my family, ever need further oral surgery, we will go to Dr. Kahn--and so will any friends I can recommend him to. I felt like he took care of me as he would his own family.
Pros: Extraordinary service & skill; caring manner; great explanations; relaxing ambience
Cons: Unfortunately (like many surgeons) they can't just bill your insurance--you have to pay at least a big chunk up front. But it's worth it!
