The pizza was the best amoung the other wonderful tasty foods. The owner of the restaurant came around to see if everyone was enjoying their meal. I thought this place was wonderful.

all of the food is great fresh homemade sauce.the garlic beef and cheese is killer!!! pasta dishes are huge paul is always there and greets you like he knows who.and prices are great.
- Pros: beefs are huge and tasty !!pasta is homemade and fresh
- Cons: gets packed during lunch and dinner get there early or no seats

All the reviews are pretty much dead on. It's not just beefs and hotdogs, though. The lasagna on Thursdays is huge. My favorite has become the broasted chicken special on Mondays. Stop in for the dogs and beef and stay for the rest.
- Pros: Huge portions, great food
- Cons: The Combo will fill you up for a week.

I go to Pauls all the time. The pizza is pretty good although a bit inconsistent. One of the few places I know of that still serves foot long hot dogs. But Pauls claim to fame are his Italian Beef Sandwiches. 11 inches of great eating. Definitely a bang for your food buck.

This place is amazing, the food is great especially the Italian beef with cheese and garlic.....mmmmmmm!!!! But, all the other food is the greatest as well! You HAVE to try this place!!

I moved to the Chicago area in 2002 and a good friend took me to Paulie's for lunch....I was HOOKED!! where else can you eat a great beef for less than $5 and at the end have an ice cream cone for a buck to put the burn out on your lips from his great giardiniera!! wow! I live in Pontiac, IL now and drive up once every two weeks just for a beef! And I buy in bulk to bring some home.....big hit in central IL now! Great service, fun to sit in the booth and watch TV and great crew! Pizza is awesome as well....thanx Paulie and crew! AJ

It is the best Italian Beef I have ever had. You can order garlic bread, cheese on beef, hot peppers, and / or juice. I like hot and juice.
