First rate dentistry

I was a person who refused to go to the dentist's office for about 10 years! The only news you'll hear from a dentist is bad, right? I finally felt the time had come, and two friends (independently) recommended Dr. Caldwell at the Kimberly Smiles office on Milwaukee ave, northside Chicago. Lucky I did, as I needed to have 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Following the extractions with an oral surgeon (not at Kimberly Smiles office), I returned to Dr. Caldwell and her staff to have a root canal on an impacted molar, and completely rebuild the crown (all in one sitting with no painful healing). The office is, as another reviewer said, state-of-the-art, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. My wife and I have both returned for routine cleanings and nicer-looking replacement fillings. We recently relocated cross-country and Dr. Caldwell sent me some great resources to find her eventual replacement. They have a tough act to follow!

• Cons: sitting in a dentist's chair is by no means a party

modern, professional, and comfortable

I was initially impressed by the hip interior and LCD screen above my chair. As the visit continued, I found this office had more than just asthetics to offer. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Caldwell wasn't rushed. The last appointment is taken at 6 PM which is quite convenient for 9-5 folks. A variety of cosmetic services are also offered, but never annoyingly pushed during my scheduled cleaning. I left my appointment with great-feeling teeth and a smile ready to recommend!

Also, major insurance providers are accepted, unlike some of the other "dental boutiques" in the city.

Excellent Dentist

Dr.Kimberly has been my dentist for a about a year and I have nothing but good things to say about her practice. Very educated and knowledgeable when it comes down to oral health. Clinically experienced as well. The front desk staff is always on top of everything. Dental hygenists/assistants are gental and well trained professionals. Everything in the office is high tech from a to z. The atmosphere cannot be described, you have to be there to experience it. I've had my share of dentists' experiences before but this one is a keeper. It's so hard to find a good dentist, and that is true. Believe me, you won't be looking anymore.

Very Satisfied

A close friend of mine began seeing Dr. Caldwell (Kim) quite a few years ago, and suggested I make the switch. Recently, I accepted the recommendation much to my satisfaction. Her new practice/office on Milwaukee avenue is completely state of the art, her staff is friendly and attentive, and Dr. Caldwell's care is first rate. I also hear that many of her clients are some of Chicago's leading artists and musicians. (Word on the street is that Peter Mars hooked her up with a number of the pieces that decorate the walls of her new practice - pretty cool!)

• Pros: State of the art office, easy parking, talented staff.
• Cons: Her office has better art than my apartment.

Dr. Caldwell and her staff are head & shoulders above the rest.

Excellent treatment and preventive care. Always thoroughly explains everything and does all in her power to get it covered by your insurance! Best Dentist anywhere!
