The Disney World of fitness clubs, complete with water slides and resort-like service.

by Elisa Kronish at Citysearch

The Scene
Modern and bright, Life Time Fitness is also huge, cheap and family friendly. This is the first Life Time Fitness in the Chicago area, and they really did it up: 114,000 square feet at a cost of $20 million. Along with fitness pros and personal trainers, Life Time gushes with eager young adults who greet and assist wherever needed.

The Services
For as little as $50 a month, with no long-term contracts, you get indoor and outdoor pools, each with a waterslide; two spacious whirlpools; steam rooms; fluffy towels; fitness classes; and educational seminars. Then there are the optional extras: personal training, climbing-wall lessons, racquetball and squash, spa services, and a healthy, light-fare cafe. Several coed locker rooms allow parents to keep an eye on their children. The Life Spa is in the same building (open to nonmembers) offering haircuts and styles, facials, manicures, waxing and more.

TIMELY FITNESS FOR LIFE

by gregsams1 at Citysearch

I have workout at the Schaumburg Club occasionally, however, the Life Time Fitness--Warrenville is my normal club. I enjoy my workouts at the club. The front desk is very friendly and accommodating Life Time Fitness always tries to improve their facility to keep up with the ever-growing fitness industry. The club is very clean and when a machine breaks down, they always make sure they fix it as soon as possible. Also, whenever I need assistance with any workout the fitness staff is always available to help. I truly enjoy my experience here and have total confidence in the staff and this facility.
