I have taken language classes over the past four years at two different facilities, both in the city. I enjoyed the staff at Spanish Horizons, they were kind and helpful, but I felt the program lacked they type of structure I needed in order to become fluent and to actually speak the language as well as understand it. The amount of memorization was overwhelming at times and hard to keep up with on a weekly basis. The number of different instructors was often times a problem.
Pros: Good and friendly instructors
Cons: Program itself was not very effective, at least for me

I had a great experience at Spanish Horizons. My Spanish really improved. I am much more comfortable communicating with other fluent speakers. My instructor was great. He was very patient with me and always had time to help answer my may questions. I highly recommend taking classes here.
Pros: small class size

Had a great experience taking my Intro. to Spanish @ Spanish Horizons. It was a small and interactive class with lots of different visual/auditory stimuli. The teacher was very experienced and catered to our unique learning styles. I highly recommend taking Spanish classes here. Very professional and courteous staff.

This seemed to be just a run of the mill, traditional spanish class. Our teacher was nice, but did not seem to have a good command of the english language. I think this is necessary because as adult learners, we need to know how things compare to our own language.

I just had a great experience in my first Spanish course since High School. My instructor was awesome and I made solid progress each week. The text book and assignements kept me focused and on track. I am very happy with my choice. I encourage others interested in learning Spanish to check out Spanish Horizons.

I am really enjoying taking Spanish classes here. My teacher (Mabell) is awesome! She is very patient and spends extra time before and after classes to answer my questions. Mabell has been very thoughtful and accomodating to me. I know everyone in the class is very happy to have her as an instructor. I know I have learned a lot and am excited to join the next level. I highly recommend Spanish Horizons.

I have just finished my 8th week in the Intro. to Spanish course and have re-enrolled in Spanish I. I have made great progress in learning Spanish. The curriculum and instructors are excellent. In fact, my instructor was a language professor in Spain. The class was very structured and well organized. Kind of reminded me of a college course without the pressure. I have outside assignments that keep me on tract and focused. Best of all they are not graded and you do not have to buy any extra books. This place is great for learning Spanish.

It has been frustrating trying to communicate with my young Spanish speaking patients. I tried the audio tapes. I had a private tutor. I was motivated but just needed some stimulus. I made some calls, visited a few schools, did the homework, and decided to sign up here. After a few months I was able to interact more confidently with my patients. I still need a lot more practice, but I finally enjoy learning the language. I could not have done this without my instructors. They had a great knowledge base and years of experience. They taught me the basic foundations and provided unique examples. They made sure I completely understood each concept before moving on. The resources provided also allowed me to practice on my own time. I never thought I would learn a new language at this stage in my life. My practice moves more efficiently and will continue to grow through new referrals by my "Spanish Speaking" clients. I have been very happy with my classes, instructors, administrative staff, and the facility. I justt wish I would have known about Spanish Horizons earlier!

I have been taking Spanish classes for over 4 years at Spanish Horizons. It has been such a wonderfull experience learning a new language and appreciating a different culture. I have taken every level and I am currently in a conversation group that meets weekly and occasionaly take private lessions. I have really enjoyed the dedication of my instructors. The class size is small and you always get individual attention. Everyone strives to make you feel comfortable and they are flexible with scheduling. My communication skills have improved tremendously since enrolling. It is exciting for me to travel with my friends and be able to navigate comfortably around another Spanish speaking country. I am gratefull for the experience and education I received at Spanish Horizons!
Pros: Teachers, Class Environment, Curriculum
