The Northside Community Federal Credit Union is simply the best, because they invest in you! In addition to their regular services as a credit union staff is committed to Increasing your knowledge as a savvy consumer of financial products. The credit union's mission includes educating people about the dangers of payday loans and other "services" guaranteed to drain your wallet of hard-earned cash. They provide free tax preparation for lower-income folks and sponsor free financial literacy classes teaching basics like budgeting to the ins and outs of home/condo ownership for 1st-time buyers. Best of all, they really have a "community" feel. Going in to take care of my financial business feels like visiting friends. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! I can't recommend them enough!
