Absolutely every service I've ever had here is excellent and I've had pretty much every service. The service is never off. I hate when I go back to a spa and it’s not as good as the last time I was there, this has proven to never happen there. The staff is consistently attentive and friendly. Zeza is located perfectly for a facial after shopping and lunching!
Pros: Total hidden gem, a must while in Chicago

I was recently in Chicago with my girlfriend, staying at the InterContinental Hotel. The Concierge at the hotel recommended Zeza when we inquired about a good place to go for a facial and a massage. I don't understand any of the negative reviews listed here because we had a great experience. The staff there couldn't have been any nicer. A gentleman named Christian gave me the best massage I have EVER HAD. I've had a great deal of chronic pain in my shoulders, neck and lower back from stress and an office desk job and I wanted a deep tissue massage that worked out the knots. He was completely amazing. The massage lasted, I'm sure, close to an hour and a half and, while I was a bit tender from the kneading afterwards, the pain from the tension knots is GONE. I will always remember him and this salon and would for sure put Zeza on my list of places to stop next time I'm in Chicago. (My girlfriend also loved her facial as well.) One note, the address listed here is on Superior Street and the Zeza spa I went to was on Ontario Street. Maybe there's some confusion about the location and the reason for the negative comments. Anyway, just like Chicago itself, it's a GREAT PLACE.

Zeza on Ontario is one of the finest salons you can find. The owners of this salon truely care about their customers and the service you get. I see other comments on here that I can't believe either the folks writing them have the wrong place in mind or they aren't telling the truth. I have been going to Al to have my hair done for over 15 years and I have never had a bad experience. He is highly professional and makes sure the salon is providing excellent service. The spa is also fantastic. I drive into the city just to get my hair cut at Zeza from the northwest burbs. I highly recommend Zeza you won't find a better place!

TheZeZa Hair Salon & Spa that I have been going to for years is located at 211 East Ontario and is wonderful. This is a family owned Salon and they treat all customers with a warm "hello" and they are so friendly. I have NEVER had a bad expierence and I can always count on Looking so Good and feeling wonderful after my appointments. Whether you are a first time client that walks into the salon or a repeat client................You will never be disappointed in the way you look. If there is anything you do not like, they will fix it without a fuss. I travel 40 miles each month to have my hair done, sure there are a lot closer salon's but no salon is like ZEZA's. Last month they had regular clients from Michigan! You won't be disappointed! Diane Spinelli
Pros: Great Salon and parking is right across the street!
Cons: Wish they had a salon in the Western Suburbs

Color correction with trimming $250 (tip not included) and 4 hours long. Still have no idea how they did the math.

My daughter and I were in town for a wedding. The hotel booked us both a manicure and pedicure for Saturday. Although Vickie was very nice , The other woman was not, she never even told us her name. And the woman at the front desk was worse. Most importantly the manicure and pedicure were basicly a polish change FOR $70.00 a piece. I have gotten my share of fabulous manicures and pedicures and they actually masage your hands and feet and the polish doesnt chip after one day and they cost 35.00 for both. When I was surprised by the price she tried to make us feel cheap but that didnt work. I know what they cost and how they should feel. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY!
Pros: NONE
Cons: Too Expensive. Terrible service

I tried Zeza because it's closer to my apartment (usually go to Mario Tricoci) and I was definitely not impressed. The salon is pretty and clean, but overpriced and I was amazed by how rude my hair stylist was! After he was half finished with my hair, he said he'd be right back, and left for 35 minutes to style someone else. When he returned and could see that I was not happy, he made no apologies and basically told me the other customer was more important. I could understand if they're overbooked, but there were other stylists just standing there with no customers, and he did nothing to apologize.
Pros: Good location, clean, decent haircut
Cons: Rude staff! If you're going to pay $75 for a haircut, go somewhere that they'll be nice to you!

In Chicago for a wedding, staying at The Fitzpatrick, at 6pm I realized I still needed to get my nails done! Most other places were already closed, but the front deask suggested I call Zeza's... "right on the 3rd floor of the hotel". Boy am I glad I did!!! Not only did they stay open an extra HOUR for me, Louisa, who did my nails was one of the most exceptional women I've met in my life!!! My nails are perfect and not a spot of rough skin managed to get by her, but it was her 'tales of survival' that really made my evening. Trust me, you really need to experience her for yourself! Family owned, son - Terik & father - Al are simply a riot, and will do anything to make their customers smile!
Pros: Louisa, Entire staff, service
