Good old fashioned hot dog stand

Mustard's little burger-and-hot-dog shack has been a favorite in my family for decades. The burgers and dogs are totally satisfying, always piping hot and freshly made with the perfect amount of grease, hefty toppings, and are generally very filling for the cheap price. The fries are awesome. The few outdoor tables make it a great place to grab a bite.

Located in a shack at the edge of the Ryan Field parking lot, this quaint stand prides itself on remarkable efficiency. You want a hot dog? Boom--it's there. Cheese fries? Watch them appear on the counter before you finish ordering. Franks are tasty, but it's the french fries that stand out, crisp and golden, glittering with just enough salt.

Mustard's Last Stand is top dog. The friendliest servers and the best food. I brought along a connosieur of food and he just loved the hot dogs, hamburgers and fries. It's the only place in or near Chicago that I will go for a hot dog. The perfect dog and burger. Primeterre
