Best deep-dish pizza in Chicago

Chicago actually has three signature pizza styles: thin-crust (yes, there's a Chicago-style thin-crust), deep-dish (or pan) and stuffed. Carmen's doesn't offer Chicago-style thin-crust (though they do offer a thin-crust pizza). That's not what I'm talking about though. Carmen's offers a very good stuffed pizza. However, their deep-dish pizza is the best I've ever had. I'm not sure I should try to describe the pizza because I know I won't do it justice. Do yourself a favor and try it yourself. Unless you hate cheese, you won't be disappointed.

For the Evanston lunch crowd, they offer a lunch buffet. It's a little expensive, but they offer a nice spread of pizza, along with some other things that I usually skip in favor of pizza.

Wood-beam ceilings give this two-floor establishment a roomy feel, and a wood-burning fireplace and Southwestern-inspired artwork exude warmth. Made-to-order pizza is the focus. Available in thin, stuffed and pan varieties, toppings include standard options, as well as a pesto pizza with garlic, pine nuts and parsley. House favorites include stuffed spinach or the Carmen's Special, a blend of sausage, mushroom, green pepper and onion. Pastas and sandwiches round out the menu.

Absolutely the BEST Chicago style pizza in Chicago and beyond (even though it is Evanston). A must stop when in the Windy City.
