I can only say one word about Thipi Thai... WONDERFUL! Great service, great prices, great food, what more could you ask for? A total must go!

Ihave eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in the Chicago area. Thipi Thai is very commercial and not very authentic. There are several Thai restaurants in the area that serve better quality and tastier dishes.
Trimmed in warm, rusty hues, this swank Thai eatery is the stuff of spice-loving suburbanites' dreams.

In Short
Mismatched seating, twig-inspired silverware and glittery elephant artwork provide a hip, worldly backdrop for the tongue-tingling dishes served at this stylish storefront restaurant, just steps from La Grange Theater. Catering to a large cross section of comfortably clad diners with children in tow, the kitchen dishes out all the Thai standards, plus a few innovative dishes. Popular selections include "beef garlic madness," a vampire's nightmare with broccoli and carrots in peppery sauce, and cashew chicken with bell peppers, carrots, scallions, pineapple and baby corn. Sweet treats include the Thipi basket, a wonton oozing with bananas and white chocolate and drizzled with raspberry-rum sauce.

I've dined at this restaurant many times over the last year and the food has been consistently good. The service is always prompt and friendly and the seating is comfortalbe.
- Pros: great food
- Cons: parking difficult
