Worst Customer Service Ever
by ff2002 at Citysearch
I do not know where the rest of you have been shopping, but I have never experienced such horrible customer service anywhere. Both times I have been in, sales clerks have been on the phone or lounging behind the counter and have NEVER given me a moment's notice. The first time I went in, I was shocked at the first price tag I looked at, assuming that a store with such a high price point would be more customer-service oriented. It sems to me that they have hired a staff of high-schoolers who have absolutely NO idea what they are doing. I would never trust their judgement on anything and I would never recommend this store to anyone. In fact, I have to believe that these other reviews were written by employees or friends of employees -- I have a very difficult time believing that anyone has ever had a pleasnt shopping experience here. I will certainly never be back.
- Pros: Close to the brown line?
- Cons: Possibly the worst service in the city

Whatever your hair color, fashions for the Parallel-wearing crowd can be found here.

The Scene
Fun and flouncy for the fashion-forward among us. Minimalist chic decor backdrops built-in racks of bold-but-not-in-your-face attire that promises to make a great first and follow-up impression. Far from stodgy, the clientele ranges from moms with moxy to unattached mavens in search of ta-da-inducing apparel.
The Goods
Not for the Gap-conscious, basics-loving crowd. Colorful and multi-patterned tops, filmy cotton skirts with chiffon underlay and hand-woven scarves from small-chic labels such as Beverly & Monika and Reyes score big time points with contemporary chicas, while antique-inspired accessories from locals like Kristen Amato spell sophisticated fun. Felt handbags and coin purses graced with flowers finish off looks with luxe.
- Pros: Unique attirelesser-known designers
- Cons: Parking problematic

Hats off to this hip, stylish boutique that allows each customer to find her own style...The staff is helpful, friendly and honest about what works on you and what doesn't. No hard sell...just a fun atmosphere that makes each customer feel good about herself. It's refreshing to see a boutique that doesn't carry the same lines as everyone else. A wide selection including evening clothes as well as fun, kick around clothes...all fun, chic and special. I highly recommend Redhead as one of Chicago's best!
