Julie is great for waxing!! Manicures stay on long, too!

I've been going to paint for about a year and really like Julie. She does a great job waxing and is extremely friendly. I also have had a couple of mani/pedis there an enjoy those as well. I've had different people and haven't gotten there names, but my manicures last up to 5 days and my pedicures always look nice. I would recommend Julie to anyone.

• Pros: Right next to the El, Friendly Staff, Good Prices
• Cons: None that I can come up with - I walk here so I'm not sure about street parking.

Just OK

When I was a regular customer, I liked Paint b/c the staff knew me and were really nice. Even as a last-minute appointment or walk-in, the staff was primarily friendly. However, they do talk about their customers after they leave, making me wonder what they say about me... sad. The staff is kind of unprofessional.

I came in for a repair to an acrylic nail and the woman made it look awful. She didn't charge me b/c it looked so bad and thankfully I didn't have to request that.

Their prices are higher than average, but they do use quality products and licensed technicians.

Great Atmosphere and Service

I have been going to Paint regularly for over a year now. What I will say is that it not the place to go if you are looking for a quick mani/pedi by someone who you will never know or see again. The great things about Paint is that the customers form a friendship with the people who work there. The owner, Aysha, is usually there as is the front desk manager, Scott. They are always rushing around, making guests comfortable, etc. I love Paint for the following reasons: 1) they give a great mani/pedi (they are great about cleaning, cuticle care and good polishes) 2) they have lots of manicurists so it is easy to get an appt 3) they take credit cards 4) they keep the shop and tools VERY clean.

• Cons: Not great parking situation

Horrible salon

My friend and I had manicures booked at the same time. We got there exactly on time, and were told that my girlfriend's appointment did not exit, and that I was early. So luckily they "squeezed" her in for a half hour later than when we were supposed to have them done. I waited for at least 25 minutes until I was able to sit down to the rudest manicurist I've ever met. The front staff was also incredibly rude and had no sense of running a business! No customer focus at all. It doesn't matter if your place looks "upscale" compared to maybe the cheaper walk in ones... but service matters most! I will never go back there again, and have told many locals to stop / or never to go there.

Terrible!!!

I made the appointment in advance for four manicures and pedicures for myself and three friends. Even though we were the only ones there other than one other customer, our appointments were delayed by 15 for no apparent reason. The manicurist who performed my pedicure took over an hour because she was gesturing so much as she talked to her co-worker that she couldn't focus. She took so long that I couldn't get a manicure because we had a reservation to make, which I made clear at the beginning. Also, the "manicurist" was so distracted that she kept buffing my big toe until it bled and I had to ask her to stop!!! The rest of the staff was distracted and unfriendly. A TERRIBLE experience, I will NEVER go back!!!!!!

Great Place

I went in to Paint for the first time on a crazy Saturday and was accomodated and taken care of quickly. My pedicure was great and I plan on going back.

Awesome Facials

I followed Maria (great manicures and pedicures) to Paint. Everyone is friendly. The owner and staff makes a point of remember your name so you feel like a valued client. The facials are unbelievable gentle and relaxing (the whole 60 minutes). Ask for Julie (also does waxing)! I'm now a regular customer.

Great Place!

Get a great manicure or pedicure - go see Maria at Paint. Facials and waxing are just as wonderful. Unlike a lot of Lincoln Park places, Paint is completely unpretentious. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming.

Super place!

I have passed Paint several times and finally went in for much needed pedicure. I don't know what I was waiting for! This place had a great atmosphere, professional staff (and SUPER friendly!) and they gave me a great pedi! I would definitely return, and the prices are great too. $15 for a manicure. $28 for pedicure is a great deal for the full experience of Paint.

PAINT IS FABULOUS!

This place is amzing! The atmosphere is hip and relaxing, the staff are talented, and the value for your money is outstanding. The last manicure I had lasted a week and a half which is unheard of!! I will back again and again. Thanks, Paint!! Chicago has been waiting a long time for service like yours!
