we went to coyote ugly mothers day weekend. we had one of the best times ever. the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. the drinks were reasonable. the atmosphere was totally alive and the crowd was having a blast. i would reccommend this bar to anyone who wants to truly have one of the best times in chicago.
Pros: friendly staff, great service, reasonable pricing.
Cons: if you don't mind standing room only after 10 pm get there early, seating is limited

This is what a bar should be. There is a lot of loud rock music, old and all good; never a boring moment. The ladies are smokin' hot and the atmosphere is infectious- the staff have a good time and you will have a good time.
Pros: atmosphere, patrons, drinks
Cons: wait to get in, parking

I was here while in town for a convention, we had a great time. The girls are all hot and got us pretty wasted. All around a really go time, and recomended not to miss.

I was at Coyote Ugly the other night and I have to say this place kicks ass!! The girls behind the bar were hot and sassy and the music rocked! I don't know how anyone could complain about this bar. You have to know what your getting into when you walk inthe door. If you aren't in the mood for loud music with a side of attitude go have a martini somewhere. If you wanna party like a rock star definitely check it out!

If you're in the mood for a rowdy, loud, drunken scene, this place might do it. We were there on a Friday night in Oct '03, sat front and center at the bar and had fun (we were in the mood for the scene). A couple strong drinks, some free shots that others bought us (as a guy I don't get many shots bought for me!), and we were quite drunk. Perhaps if I was sober this place would've been lame, but we had fun. Not a place I will frequent, but definetly something different.

IT'S NOT THE MOVIE! Music needs to be more diverse, period. The bar girls: Dance 3, Looks 4. More dance space, please. Strategically speaking, the waitresses are pretty to encourage orders for food & drinks. Guys--if you wanna get drunk, look at women who drink too much as they hang their bras for decor (which increases YOUR luck), this place is for you. Bar top dance lessons might be fun for those poor patrons that can't move. Might come back in summer to see if it's any better.
Pros: Liquor, Bar Appearance
Cons: Long Wait in Line, Music, Performances
