There's no place to park, so we paid $11 to park in a garage around the corner, since we had heard so much about the place. Got in line and some guy came out and told us they were on their last batch of caramel and he didn't know if we'd all get some. He suggested we go to the Michigan Ave store. We were pretty close to the front of the line, so we took a chance. One hour later (no kidding, it took them one hour to serve the six people in front of us!), we got to the counter to find out that we were out of luck. We wouldn't have been so irate had the staff not been made up of the laziest, most indifferent, slow, slow, slow bunch of numb-brains we had ever come across. I don't mind waiting, but I do when it's because the two girls behind the counter are busy talking to each other and standing around, instead of actually working. I wonder if the owner has a clue about what his staff does when his back is turned. We will NEVER go back. If you'd like to hear further tales of our popcorn woe, go to our review of the Michigan Ave store, which we visited afterward upon this store's clerk's suggestion.
Pros: It smelled good.
Cons: We didn't get to taste what we smelled, because the service STINKS!

If you like popcorn you will LOVE this spot. There is nothing like it. Mix the cheese with the caramel for a nice treat. It is worth the wait in the lines.
Pros: fresh, on every corner
Cons: no place to park

I will never go there again! Their staff are very indifferent and incredibly rude. It's a McDonald service at Cheese Cake Factory price. I also found out a little secret (from a former employee). Here's what Garrett won't tell you: they make their cheese corn with a cheese paste that has been chemically processed in the facory. It's full of transfat (e.g., Crisco), artificial color, artificial flavoring, and preservatives. It's a tier below CheezeWhizz. Oh yeah, it comes in a plastic TUB. To be specific, it's made by Gold Metal and it's chemical #2392 "Cheddar Gold". YUK, YUK, YUK!!!!!! they don't deliver on quality. Oprah must be getting paid a lot of $ for her endorsement b/c I am sure she doesn't eat chemicals like this.

their customer service is very very POOR and their popcorn is junk food quality. they just spend a lot of marketing $$$ to make us believe that it's "gourmet"...wahtever that means. Oprah sold out. as some of your might have heard, they opened a location in NYC last month. I wouldn't bet on lines forming in front of their NYC penn station location. It has not been very well received in NYC (neither by the locals nor the tourists). People living in a sophisticated, urban city do not want midwestern, mass- market popcorn.

Stand in line for finger-yellowing cheese corn, and warm, gooey caramel corn. If you get there early you may catch popcorn balls or cashew and pecan caramel corn, too. They also have tins to take home and the popcorn is offered in many different sized bags to suit any dietary need (or lack thereof). Less of a line here than at Michigan Avenue thankfully.
