Won't let you down

Portillos is a reliable restaurant for good hotdogs and burgers. The cheeseburger was well cooked, but dripped with grease. Fortunately, it tasted so good that it didn't have too much time to drip. The hotdogs are good and come with all the fixings. The atmosphere is classic Chicago, with gangster memorabilia adorning the walls and ceiling. It's a good place to bring the kids.

Finger-licking good

Portillo's has a sort of amusement-park feel: Nothing fancy here, but it's about the food, not the atmosphere. The crave-able Italian beef sandwich makes for a messy but satisfying meal with a side of crispy french fries. One try and I was hooked.
