A good place to spend the night
by rickmenchacatx
Hy,
I heard from a friend that stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites that this place is really great and he really recommends it to everyone. I will have to go sometime to check it out for myself.
Best regards from Rick Menchaca
For more than 50 years, this hotel's familiar green sign has signaled budget-friendly lodging for families and business travelers.

In Short
Since its 1952 debut in Memphis, Tenn., Holiday Inn has become one of the most recognized hotel brands in the world. Kids rule here: Children age 19 and younger stay for free when sharing a parent's room and as many as four children per family (age 12 or younger) eat for free at hotel restaurants. Other amenities include 24-hour business services, an in-room coffeemaker, iron, hair dryer, room service, a swimming pool and a fitness center.
Good location on the fringes of the action
by bubba_hotep
We booked this hotel using Priceline and were skeptical at first because of the location. We visited Chicago on Amtrak and found out that hotel was 2 blocks from the Union station. We had easy access to the Blue Line subway, which was right behind the hotel. The service was very friendly. We were in walking distance of good restaurants, including Lou Mitchell's. Aurelio's Restaraunt in the hotel was inexpensive and tasty. I would stay at this hotel again, especially if going back by train.
- Pros: Great Service, Subway nearby, Not Crowded
- Cons: Away from Mag Mile, Too few TV channels, small pool
