Best brow shaping ever!. A friend of mine recently went to Channing's to get her eyebrows shaped by Cheryl. I couldn't believe what a difference it made that I called and made an appointment for myself. I had to wait a few weeks to get in but it gave me a chance to grow them in a little. She evened out my brows and showed me how to take care of them in between appointments. I was so pleased with the results, it was worth every penny!

My first oak street spa. What a surprise! I was very comfortable the minuite I walked in and was greeted by friendly staff and escorted into a funky Salon . I loved the detox body treatment and massage. It was my first time at a spa and it definatelly will not be the last time .

This is the worst place I've ever been to!. Oi Vey, where do I start? I decided to check it out since I'm addicted to spas. I don't get how their reviews are so high?!?! Have these people ever been there before or is this another incident where the staff writes the reviews? I don't mean that in a rude way, I'm actually pretty laidback in spas because I know mistakes happen, it's life. I know to each his own but this rathouse was the worst experience of my life.

First during the massage, the woman could barely speak English and she kept hitting my spine & her elbow slammed into my tailbone 3 times. I kept saying to lower the pressure but she couldn't understand me. THEN during my facial, the lady pulled attitude because I didn't want an extra treatment she has to offer. Then went on to critisize me for not wanting a 50 dollar eyebrow pluck from her, excuse me, is it your business if I want you to pluck my brows? I'm sorry but if you want a HORRIBLE massage, facial, & rude staff by all means check this place out.

Classically decorated Gold Coast haven offers modern relaxation.. The Space
Travel up the stairs to reach the spa, and you may as well be traveling back in time: Victorian decor prevails across two floors of elegant space, with shades of green, purple and gold, Impressionist prints, and soft curtains. Fragrant scents soothe even before you check in, and waiting areas tucked into small nooks throughout make it impossible not to relax.

The Services
Manicure, pedicure and esthetician stations handle treatments such as an aromatherapy hot-glove manicure, Tangerine ice pedicure or Caviar facial, while hot rock massages and head, shoulder and neck treatments take place in separate rooms. The indulgent Chocolate Truffle body wrap and the trendy Fantasy Tan generate plenty of repeat business. A gentleman's package includes deep-tissue massage, enzyme facial and sports pedicure; those services are also independently available.

Best spa & service- especially my massage!. I went there for a few treatments since I was beyond stressed out from work. I had a massage from Leslie and at first I was nervous since that was my first time getting a massage but she was very sweet and very skillful in all the questions I asked reguarding the stress in my horrible back. She didn't make me feel awkward like I thought I would getting a massage- she knew all the spots to massage and made me feel at utter bliss (and I've gone back to her since then!)The next thing I had done was mani/pedicure which were just as blissful- great scents too. But definitely recommend the massage especially by Leslie!

a trip to heaven. For my birthday , and I'm not telling which one, I got a gift certificate to Channings. I had never been to a spa and was thrilled and scared! Those emotions faded away the minuite I walked in and was warmly greeted and made me feel comfortable. They even let me change my gift certificate to something other than what was chosen by my friends. I got LASHES Ilook 10 years younger, I want more. this was a great place to try out spas

Loved It!. My husband just gave me a Channings gift certificate for my birthday and I couldnt wait to go. I used it right away and went for their new green coffee wrap and a tangerine ice pedicure, in hopes of getting ready for summer. Both were amazing. The staff was super friendly and really treated me like a queen for the day. I will definitely be going backmaybe even for mothers day!

Happy spa goer. WOW, I needed this!! I was greeted by a friendly desk person and offered cucumber water or wine before my services. Not a bad way to finish off the bad day I had at work. The spa was very inviting and I never felt uncomfortable walking around in a robe. I had the works and a brow shaping, I love my brows and my skin never felt so smooth. I will be a regular visitor at this place!

Great Skin Products. I have been going to Channings for a couple years now. I had gotten my eyes waxed there a couple times, but then looked elsewhere cause the service was so so. I think the location is great, its hidden on Oak. When you walk in it looks small and old, it seems like that is the look they are going for, but it looks outdated to me. When I went to the spa I never had a problem getting in and the people were always very nice. I use their skin care line. I think its great, and smells so good too.

Channings is way cheaper than Therapy. and it works better and I don't leave with a red nose from crying. Manicures, pedicures, facials, massages. What more can a girl want in a relaxing environment?
