I would like to warn all the parents who are thinking about sending their kids to this place. This place is the worst environment that you can offer your kid. Employees don't care about the kids and infants. Infants remain in their cribs all day long. they don't have enough space and proper place where you infant can learn to crawl or walk. Infants can be found with full diapers and dirty clothes all the time. Employees are rude and always misbehave. They used to talked to me like they were watching my kid for free. I used to see toddlers everyday and they never looked happy. I even talked to one mom during the two months when my kid was there, that mom was also thinking about finding some other proper place for her kid. So I would like to request all the parents to never think about registering your kid at taylor tots..Its the worst place for a kid to grow at.

Cons: not enough space for kids, rude employees, bad service, high price, bad environment for kids, filthy place

My child use to go to this Daycare and as time passed it became obious that something was not right. She would not want to go to the staff and everytime I went to pick her up the lights were off and kids were crying. One time I went early and it was like a sauna in there and one of the staff members was sleeping on the chair while all the children were left unattended. My child was very distressed there and the staff was very unfriendly. The only time the staff was friendly was when we toured the facility.. During the summer the daycare would not turn on the airconditioning. My friend had his daughter in this day care and he noticed the same things I did. The staff being unfriendly. No one seemed to care about the children. Children not being fed. Staff taking naps and conditions being very harsh in the facility. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Make sure you talk to other parents who had children in this day care before enrolling your child. I even filed a complaint against this facility. Children should not be treated in such a manner as they are treated here...

Pros: Close to UIC Medical

Cons: Unfriendly, Understaffed, Lack of Experiance, Very Hot During Summer

My son really enjoys his time at Taylor Tots and can't wait to go to "school' every day. He has made some wonderful friends that he talks about all the time and he even sometime forgets to say goodbye to me when I drop him off! The staff is helpful and attentive and I feel he is getting great care and a great childhood experience.

This facility offers quality care and a nice facility. The caregivers are caring and attentive. My daughter love to go and sometimes forgets to say good-bye to me and is sad to leave when I pick her up. It makes me sad, however, it is great that she loves where she is!

Pros: Nice facility, quality car

Cons: Parking is not the best

I have had my son at Taylor Tots since he was 8 weeks old. He has always received wonderful care. The care givers are attentive and receptive. Since my son has asthma (and sometimes has to use a nebulizer), I was concerned. However, they are acutely aware of when he is having trouble and always keep me informed. The is developing well, has good social skills, and enjoyed his time there. I cannot say enough good things about their program.

If you love your infant/tod/kid never never send him/her to this daycare. I am a student and when I moved to Chicago I chose Taylor tots only because it was near my apartment. With in 2 months it became more and more difficult for me to see my daughter in soiled diapers and dirty clothes every afternoon. This daycare doesnot have enough employees to watch over kids and even if they have enough staff they never care about infants/kids. I sometimes used to go there unannounced and I used to find my daughter either crying or sleeping with her bottle full of formula beside her. They never hold my baby to feed her. One day when I went back to pick her up, she had some beige stuff all over her face and clothes. When I inquired them about it they told me that they gave a cookie( from a bakery) to my 5 moths old infant. You are not supposed to give cookies made for adults to an infant who has not ever started her solids yet. Despite the fact that they knew that my infant was a premature baby they never cared about my daughter. One of their toddlers even scratched my daughter one time on the face. Now I ave found a very nice babysitter for my daughter and she's very happy with her. So please never send your baby to taylor tots no matter what the circumstances are.
