Noooooo!!!!!!!
by presidentclinton
Ok, so everybody who wrote a positive review must have been pretty blasted from the Cubs game and not have to work too hard for their money. This place is a bad call. The oysters huh? Yeah we ordered them, I dont' think they have ever shucked an oyster before, we had to rip them out of their shell. The steak was covered with muck! I say muck because I have no idea what that wonder goo was they topped it with but, there was a lot! The waiter was a dirty old man, dont get me wrong, dirty old men have their place in the world and I am sure to be one some day but this guy sat next to us picking his teeth the entire meal! If it takes you a half of an hour and you still cant get it out it's time to go to the dentist. So for all the people out there who like GOOD food and don't like to waste their hard-earned money I reccomend Shaws, downtown. These other reviews are crazy, please trust me.
- Pros: They have alcohol
- Cons: Food
Great Crawfish Soup
by CynMM
I visited this restaurant a few years back. The atmosphere is great, the drinks are good and the food is delicious! Try the crawfish soup, you will want to take a bowl home.
- Pros: Great area
- Cons: Parking
Great martinis and outstanding calamari!
by fun1982
This place has the BEST calamari I (along with several friends) have ever tasted! The martinis are tasty and the owner often sends shots on the house to your table! Romantic atmosphere makes this place great for dates. I recommend!
- Pros: Ambience, calamari, martinis
- Cons: Parking
Great Place
by rterron
There's not too many seafood restuarants around so when we found this place we were really excited and it completely met our expectations. The oysters topped with cavier was excellent. We ordered the seafood pasta and it was really good. The waiter was great... It's a great place to take out of town people so they can visit Wrigleyville and visit a quaint place with great food! We look forward visiting again!
- Pros: Great taste
- Cons: Somewhat pricey
Save your money...

Four small tapas plates, a bottle of chardonnay and one dozen oysters later, we were over $82 for TWO people. The $30 chardonnay could have passed for 2 buck Chuck. The server was very attentive and helpful, but the small portions were just that. The "portobello" mushroom tapas was one medium sized mushroom? I can cook for a family of four under this price. Crossed this one off the list.....
- Pros: service, food preparation
- Cons: price, food value
Awesome for V-day
by punkin34w
My boyfriend and I went here for Valentines day and were pleasantly surprised! They had live music, great food and service, and even gave me a little teddy bear at the end of the meal! I definately reccomend the Margarita Octopus- delicious! Reasonable great seafood in a comfortable environment.
- Pros: food, price, fish tank
- Cons: It's a bit small

It is an ~okay~ place

I saw that this place was highly rated and went there. The food was great! But, the ambience was basically a bar.
- Pros: Great food
- Cons: Room feels like bar
NIIIIIICE!
by paleface
This is a tight little spot. I took my lady and we had a great time. A great experience all the way around. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great location (if you like Lakeview/Wrigleyville). The Tiger shrimp was HUGE and very fresh. The swordfish was excellent as well. Good drink selection. The entrees are a little pricey vs. the size of the portions, but two can eat well for under 30 bucks here. The service was some of the best i've had in Chicago. Very attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. I'd definitely go back...
- Pros: great food, great service, great atmosphere
- Cons: slightly pricey
Excellent Experience
by ajlynch131
I recently dined here with a female friend on a first date. The experience was wonderful. Great food, I had a steak and shrip combo she had a seafood pasta dish, and the serice was amazing. Our waitress was very polite and even brought us a few free drinks after we had finished our bottle of wine. Definately a place I will go back and I've already recommended it to people looking for dinner ideas for the upcoming weekend.
- Pros: Service, Menu
