Good for Soccer and a pint

Ginger's markets itself as a place to watch soccer and I am sure that is true. Last Saturday afternoon every TV was tuned to a Premiership game - US football fans need not apply! That's actually fine, but the food was average at best, the place could use a scrubbing and the bartender spent all her time talking to her friends down the bar. Ginger's or the Globe are the place to go to watch European sports with other knowledgeable fans, but if that's not your scene, there are better choices in Lakeview.
