AMAZING!

This place is great! I used to tan at LA and its gross there. I walked into Halsted Street Beach and was greeted with happy faces and even hugs! Very fun place! Packages are reasonable and Matt even let me tan after the place was closed! He said if he's there and the lights are on youre welcome to come on in!

Matt and crew provide an excellent tanning experience. Friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate. After being there only one time, Matt remembered our names and greeted us personally. Great facilities and products.

Don't tan anywhere else!

Halsted Street Beach Tanning is the best tanning salon in Chicago (perhaps in the world), hands town.

The staff is unusually knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help. They make sure you get the deepest tan possible without burning. They take the time to get to know each customer. The owner (Matt) is in the salon on a regular basis and knows every customer by name. Walk in the front door and you'll feel like you've stepped into a party with a group of old friends.

The beds are always clean. You can plug in your iPod and play your music through the built in speakers in each bed. The have a variety of other services available too, including waxing and massages.

I'll never tan anywhere else!

This tanning salon is the best there is in Chicago, they treat you so amazing. They are so professional and they are so friendly as well! When you leave you come out looking so good and feeling great!! There is no other place like it in Chicago!!

I love Halstead Street Beach!! I've never been big into tanning, but the atmosphere is not your typical tanning salon. It's fun, super friendly and the dance beats keep your toes tappin while your bod is bronzin. It's non-threatening, the way that "trendy" hot-spot salons are, and they're not pushy at all. They carry the most delicious lotions, offer massage packages and always have hillariously rockin window displays! So if you're looking for quaint little Halsted oasis, this is your place :)

Like tanning on an Island full of fun & sun!

Halstead Tanning is an absolute rainbow of a gem! Nestled in between a couple neighborhood bars, flower shop, and some Boystown novelty stores, I love the friendly staff, dance music, and colorful decorations. After each visit, I always leave feeling like I've been basking on an island full of sun. This is my favorite tanning salon ever (I've lived in Miami and Atlanta), and this place is all about FUN & ATMOSPHERE! Plus the $5 late-night tans (9-10 pm or 10-11 pm) are hard to beat!

• Pros: AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! Good dance music. Value-packed $5 late-night tans : )
• Cons: Parking can be a bit tricky due to heavy traffic from Wrigley.

Great Tanning Service

Halsted Street Beach is a very friendly and efficient tanning salon that I go to quite frequently. The rooms are private and very clean. Matt and his team are very knowledgable and educate you on safe tanning. Not only do I tan there, but I also purchase their skin care products and receive massages (very good). Definitely recommend.

Without a doubt, the best tanning experience i have had in Chicago. the HSBT staff is helpful, Aaron is really helpful, the facilities are clean and fun, and the prices are great. whats not to love ??

Best tanning in Chicago!

Most friendly staff of any business I've been to in Chicago. They always have new bulbs because they change them every couple of months. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is always throwing extras at you. Clean, quaint and relaxing, Halsted Street Beach Tanning Salon is definetly the best Chicago has to offer!
