Herbal medicine at Ton Shen Health

There are three parts to my Lymphoma treatment (since 2007): (1) top-of-the-line University of Chicago western medicine (a 14 week course of chemotherapy, very effective), (2) accupuncture (to deal with side-effects and to presently boost immune system, relieve anxiety and deal with old achy joints I've always had besides), and (3) traditional Chinese herbal medicine. I focus here on the herbal medicine. Being a PhD scientist familiar with plant biology, I know that plants have evolved powerful, creative "molecular sythesis" capabilities to counteract the fact that they can't move like animals, e.g., flowers produce molecules that smell good to bees to accomplish pollination. Well, traditional Chinese herbal medicine uses the vast 3,000 year old experience with molecules made in herbs gathered throughout China (and the rest of the world) to create a form of medicine that is very effective and useful; but generally barely known about by "western science". The fact that "western science" does not know enough about it yet is not a reason to distrust it--there are 3,000 years of experience with it from the Chinese culture to back up its effectiveness and to avoid pitfalls and dangers (e.g., side effects). I have used herbal medications daily since the end of my chemotherapy (during chemo, it was decided to keep the two powerful medicines from interacting unpredictably). I can say that my health has never been better--especially the all important immune system which is what has kept me cancer free since the initial chemo knocked the cancer out. I heartily recommend Dr. Gary Xie (L.Ac., O.M.D.) for those of you who want to use the powerful tradition of ancient herbal medicine as a means of complimenting your western therapies (I recommend both). The herbal compounds themselves are very high-quality and are securely manufactured in a manner that assures their effectiveness. I strongly recommend Ton Shen Health.

Results are quick and amazing

For many years I suffered from migraines, as well as numerous other health issues. This past summer the migraines became debilitating, causing me to spend most days in a darkened bedroom, which affected my ability to function. The medications my western doctor prescribed caused terrible side effects that affected my sleep, mental activity, and stomach. I was desperate to find help and knew I had to get off those medications. My daughter kept encouraging me to call Dr. Guo, who had helped her overcome serious stomach pains in relation to a food allergy she'd had all of her life. In July I went to Dr. Guo who started me on a regimine of TCM herbs and suggested accupuncture. All of the accupuncturists I saw were helpful, but I have been seeing Dr. June Liu the past several months for accupuncture, and that plus the herbs have lessened both the incidences and severity of the headcahes quite dramatically. This is having a really positive impact on all areas of my life, and I feel like a different person. I thank God for Dr. June and Dr. Guo, and have recommended several family and friends who suffer from a variety of disorders. After Western medicine failed and I was despairing that I would ever find help, I discovered Ton Shen Health, and recommend Drs. June and Guo highly and without reservation.

Great Herbalist

In April 2007, my cholesterol was 289 and my LDL was 211! My family doctor advised that she was going to put me on a cholesterol reducing medication and that I would probably be on it for the rest of my life. Hesitantly, I tried this medication for a few weeks and had a lot of pressure on my chest. I did not like the feeling. As I looked into the cholesterol reducing medications, I found out that they affect one?s liver after taking them continuously over the years. I decided no longer to be on medication, so I contacted Herbalist Guo at Ton Shen Health hoping he could help me out.

After five months of taking herbs from Herbalist Guo, my cholesterol had gone down to 173 and my LDL had gone down to 100!!! I was ecstatic!!! Herbalist Guo has been my lifesaver by giving me a new lease on life!!! Thank you!!!

Great Treatment

In 1981, I started to have many stomach pains and would go to the bathroom more often. For 20 years, I have been going to doctors and I was not helped much. Then I was diagnosed Crohns disease. They gave me a colonoscopy and that was how they knew I had Crohns disease. Until 2004 I have been going to doctors and my health would go from good to bad very often. In 2004, I started to go to Herbal Master Guo. After four months of using his herbal formulas, I started to feel much better. I am very pleased with what he did with me and Acupuncturist Xie who also helped me very much. I am very happy with the fact that Ton Shen Health has made me healthy again.
