BW's are nothing special. Food's okay, sauce is okay.. I can get the same thing at several other places. For great wings, go to Yak-zies.

Pros: decent sauce

Cons: ordinary

I am sorry to say that this place just did not live up to my expectations. I have been searching the city for some decent chicken wings, and the search brought me to the Wild Wing superstore, supposedly. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere. Plenty to look at with the 20 or so televisions. The waitstaff did not seem very interested in their jobs. The menu was limited. The wings looked sick served in their paper baskets, which the grease adheared to, and smothered in the sauce of your choice, and no garnish whatsoever. They tasted like they just came out of the microwave. I was was shocked, and a little disappointed that they are trying to pass these off as the best wings around. The only redeeming fact about this place are the choices of sauce to smothering these, cornish hen sized, wings in. They had a sauce for every tastebud. But it's not the sauce that makes good wings. And what ever happened to getting a whole wing. I think we are getting jipped with half pieces. So considering that they have named their place Buffalo Wild Wings, I think they should be setting an example for the wing makers in the business. This place does not deserve to hold the name. Buffalo Sports Bar isn't even a name worthy of this place. I can't believe that there is more than one of these places

Pros: Good Beer

Cons: Tiny Disappointing Wings

You were born in Idaho or some other podunk hole in map, got your BA @ MICH and your first real job in Chicago, moved to Lincoln Park because its safe and trendy. You follow everyone of your trendy friends where their trendy friends lead them. These wings may fly in Buffalo and probably should have stayed there. I was born in Chicago and I want food that represents the city of Big Shoulders! I went to BWW with my girlfriend and was sadly dissapointed. Sure, theres lots of tv's with lots of sports. I can think of 25 other bars that have the same with better parking. Sure they have lots of beers on tap. I can think of 50 other bars like that for about half the price. Sure the service was so slow I almost walked out twice because I thought they forgot about us. But they have wings!!! Oh, I almost forgot about them. We got two orders, different flavors to be sure and what was served was truley laughable. These little platters of little tiny wing parts. They were so small I asked our waitress if the chickens these wings came from had "polio". She did not think it was funny and neither did I. Whats with people trying to pass off a chicken wing cut in half as two chicken wings? Are the chickens in Buffalo different or do they just think people from Chicago are stupid? The wings were a joke but to be a little generous, the beer was cold and the bathrooms were filthy so it really reminded me of chicago in that way. A few beers and a few cocktails, a couple dozen wing parts and we are down about $65. If you are a real chicagoan, avoid this joint like the Dan Ryan. You can get better wings out of a Swanson frozen dinner.

Pros: Cold beer and filthy restrooms

Cons: Poor service, surley bartender, laughable wing bits

This is the best place to go to watch any sports game. You have a lot of big screens as well as a ton of small televisions to view all of your favorite games. The atmosphere is fantastic. We visit the Buffalo WIld WIngs in Maumee, OH quite often but when we are in Chicago, we visit the Buffalo Wild Wings here and recommend it to everybody!!!

Pros: Sports Oriented, Great Food, Good Prices

My family and I went to BW's before the Cubs game over Labor Day Weekend. What a great time! The food was really good and their beer selection was very impressive- almost 20 beers on draft! There are TV's all over the place and it was just a fun place to grab some food and a couple of beers. What was the most impressive was the amount of sports decor on the walls- really some cool stuff to walk around and look at.

Pros: Great food, Even better beer, Fun place to hang out

My friends and I make our weekly pilgrimage to BW3's to watch the first half of Monday Night Football. Tons of TVs. Lots of good sauces for the wings. I also enjoyed the chicken sandwich I once got...but you gotta stick with the wings. Kinda of a younger post-college crowd. typical for this Lincoln corridor. One other thing that's cool, they don't seem to mind if you decide to stick with non-alcoholic drinks, you get pitchers of water, refills on soda, etc.

Pros: Wings, Location

There are so many different types of wings to eat that no one will be unhappy. There are TV's everywhere to watch any game thats on but it's so noisy that you won't be able to hear. It's still worth it though.

Pros: Wings, Beer, Wings

Cons: Parking

Great place to watch sports--TVs a-go-go and a good crowd that's a nice balance of the best of yuppies, sports fans and college folks. Nice waitresses, but suspicious that they all seem to be under 5' 4' and female... Sometimes the size and quality of the chicken could be better, but the myriad sauce recipes are all good-to-incredible even if the exact flavor isn't your kinda thing. Most of the menu outside the wings are forgettable, and the beer could be a little cheaper. They're big on Indiana and Colorado U games if you're a fan.

Editor's Review

Sports, signature wings and an authentic neighborhood feel attract low-maintenance Lincoln Parkers to this location of the popular national chain.  See the full editorial review.
