terrible ribs

I ordered ribs and it was dry and burnt. I would not recommend Robinson's Ribs. Kordell Robinson was mean and nasty.

Fabulous Ribs

I love this place. The BBQ is real, authentic BBQ. I love the ribs. It may be a dive, but I just go for the food.

Terrible Customer Service and Food

I had the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant in my entire life with Robinson's. Not only did I receive my food an hour after I was told I would receive it, but it was spoiled and had to be thrown away. Yet, I still had to pay full price. When I called to get the situation rectified the owner raised his voice so loudly that I in turn had to raise my voice. However when I did, he hung up on me. I would suggest NEVER eating there if you want to have a pleasant experience.

Great BBQ buffet for just $12.95

Robinson's is the only place I go for ribs. As far as tasty ribs go, Robinson's is the best.

We now go on Sunday for the buffet which has ribs, fried chicken and much more. Can't beat the price either, just $12.95. If you like Beer or Wine with your meal, bring your own Robinson's is BYOB.

I love Robinson's !!!!

I have been eating at robinson's for about 10 years. I have tasted many other places but nothing comes close. The sauce is so addictive I'am hooked!!!! Keep up the good work!

Worst Ribs EVER

I just spent $20 in cab fair, to eat the worst ribs I have ever ordered and then wash them down with WATER because the place is Bring Your Own Beer (Read Insider tips more carefully). I ordered the ribs dry so that I could savor the marination and hickory smoked flavor, only to discover them dry and tasteless. The Sauce wasn't anything that you couldn't get from a Generic bottle of BBQ Sauce. I'm not only disappointed with Robinson's, but I'm more disappointed with City Search. TAKE THIS RESTERAUNT OFF YOUR SITE!

• Cons: Ribs, Onion Rings, Alcohol

Great place to go for carryout BBQ in Lincoln Park! Awesome pies too, which are a great way to top off a meal full of comfort food.

Worst Ribs Ever!

No. 1? Hardly. Robinsons disappointed this ribs lover with its terrible service, sludge-like barbecue sauce that tasted like peppered catsup more than anything else, and ribs that felt like they were stored since 2000 when this restauarnt won citysearch's best ribs award. For the life of me, I don't know why anyone would go to this restaurant. I strongly advise you to avoid this restaurant. In a city like Chicago, you should never have to settle for medicrity like this.
