If your looking for a week of food poisening....

by musicmaven234

I recently went here and ordered the steak quesadillas. I would normally think that quesadillas would be pretty difficult to screw up. However, four days later I am still unable to eat anything without throwing up. They really should have this place inspected because I am doubtful that all of the food they are serving is safe.

  • Pros: If your wasted you cant see how gross it is
  • Cons: food poisening

Junior steak burrito, chips & salsa and an orchetta and you're good to go home and get down to business.

  • Pros: food, hot tail there late, cheap
  • Cons: bathroom in kitchen

Agree It's The Best!

by danandmargaret

The only places in years we've gone to for "fast" food are the Duke of Perth (Clark/Oakdale, Scottish pub/meals) and Taco and Burrito Palace east side Halsted about 1/2 block north of Fullerton. Whether preparing to just sample the Duke's single malts or just wanting excellent Mexican at great prices, go to the Taco and Burrito Palace. The only caveats are those as the other reviewers wrote.

  • Pros: good prices, good quantities, super-fast
  • Cons: very limited seating

Best Burritos in Town

by jsteffers

Quit looking around. If it's late and you're craving a burrito, THIS is the place.

Awesome griddled outside, great quality steak inside. Hot sauce is good, not the best.

Also recommended, the chorizo quesadilla (grab xtra napkins) and great guac.

Very good horchata drink, if you're into that.

Get it to go, too cramped inside.

  • Pros: Good to Go, Inexpensive, Tasty
  • Cons: Tough Parking , Late Nite Drunks
5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I love this place!!!

The food here is awesome! Portion sizes are large for the price. Fajitas and burritos are outstanding. I especially like their vegetarian nachos.

  • Pros: inexpensive, quality food, fast service
  • Cons: , poor ambiance

hangover food

by JackShay_Citysearch

It's clearly not an original sentiment on this site, but this is truly the best food after a heavy night of drinking (at B.L.U.E.S. or Kingston Mines). Who would have thought authentically cheap mexican could quiet the roiling tummy so? Guacamole is robust, garlicky and they give you lots. The burritos are magical (though the steak itself could be better quality).
