Clarke's is a very convenient place to eat in Lincoln park. The food is ok. The milkshakes are awesome.The service leaves something to be desired. As a depaul student i have been eating there for the past four years. Unfortunately one of the servers happened to call a young African american woman the N word and mention something about a lynching. Racial slurrs and and lynchings are not very appetizing and as this is not 1950 not very appropriate. So please choose some place else to enjoy your next "average" meal.

• Pros: open late, awesome milk shakes, near DePaul
• Cons:  waitresses that use inappropriate language. indifferent management,

Possibly not a better (or better-tasting) typical breakfast deal than their "Micro Mini," which is neither Micro, nor Mini.

DePaul students stop by for diner favorites and to study at all hours at this casual 24/7 cafe.

Relaxed and casual, with bargain prices throughout the menu, this place draws late-night crowds. Semi-loud '80s rock plays on the stereo, and windows offer prime views of Lincoln Avenue. Breakfast features omelettes, egg-topped skillets, baked pancakes and more. Adults go for the Zorba omelette packed with spinach and feta cheese, while kids dig the Funny Face pancake decorated with chocolate chips, whipped cream and maraschino cherries, and chocolate milk made from scratch.
