This is my first review and I just had to write this one because I was so surprised at the bad service and the unclean restrooms in golden nuggets in Chicago on Diversy and Clark. I have been a fan of Golden Nuggets for 18 years. I have taken my family their numerous times because the food is great and the service was outstanding. Now it's been about 9 months since I eaten at my favorite restauraunt. At 9:40pm when we walked in the restauraunt lights where dimmer than usual. I walk to the mens bathroom, and walked into (urine) that was all over the floor. So I'm sliding to get to the stall and slide to the sink to wash my hands and it smelled bad in there. My Fiance stated she couldn't even sit down on sit in the ladies bathroom because it was so dirty. So I'm sliding my way out the mens bathroom and went set at the table with my fiance. Now the waitress came back at 9:50pm and took our order in which she brought our food/soup at 9:55pm to our table. Now its 10:05pm and we asked the waitress for more hot water for our tea and she said ok but she didn't come back to our table 10:25pm at that time she brught our food. Me and my fiance finished our dinner about 10:45pm. I wanted desert and the waitress hasn't came back to our table yet? At 10:50 a different waitress came to our table with our check. The waitress didn't even ask if we wanted desert. So I asked the waitress could I have an (Alaskan Waffle) and she said sure. (Alaskan Waffel) desert and you can tell this was her first time making it. Because it looked like an flat tire. Only 2 strawberry's and 2 small scoops of ice cream on it and the whip cream was all on the side of the plate. Was Golden Nuggets low on their food inventory? My finace laughed at me because she seen the disapointment in my face. Because I have been comming to Golden Nugggets for 18 years and I have never gotten an (Alaskan Waffel) looking like that. It was terrible and I'm still shock at the same time.
Pros: Day shift is great service
Cons: Night shift servuice is a nightmare!!
