Great salsa!

Always looking for good salsa, I was pleasantly suprised by Twisted Lizard's! All the dishes seem very authentic and come to the table quickly. The service is great and I've never really had a long wait. Sitting outside is also a fun option in the summer. Great margaritas too!!

• Pros: Great salsa, food and margaritas
• Cons: A little loud

Casual Lincoln Park hangout draws a 20-something crowd with margaritas and reliably good Tex-Mex fare.

Go early or be prepared to wait at this basement-level restaurant, which is decorated in a Texas whirlwind of blue lights, painted lizards and cowhides draping the walls. The outdoor patio offers prime Lincoln Park people-watching, and the citrusy margaritas and fresh chips and salsa make the wait worthwhile. The menu features contemporary renditions of old favorites like steak fajitas and enchiladas with mole sauce.

Makes a fun evening

Twisted Lizard has great service, GREAT atmosphere and GREAT food. This place is perfect for a big group of friends, but it's not really a 'first date' place. Try the raspberry margaritas, they're amazing.
