Not too shabby but really over priced.
by NekoMimi
Not a bad location, a very good website, the salad was VERY good, (Not watery like most pizza places where there is a half an inch of water in the container with the salad) the pizza was OK but not up to the standard of other Chicago Deep Dish places like Lou Malnati's, Unos, or Gino's East.
A large deep dish with Sausage and Mushroom and a salad for 3 cost just shy of $40.00. (And we PICKED IT UP)
Quality wise, if I ever feel the urge to go back here, I will just go to Dominick's and get a frozen Gino's East Sausage and a $1.00 bag of mixed salad. THAT will cost about $12.00 and not the almost $40.00 that My Pie on Clark charged.
Quality wise, the food was worth HALF of what they charged.
I will not be coming back.
- Pros: Salad was VERY good, Pizza was decent.
- Cons: A pizza & salad cost me $10.00 more then Lou Malnati's etc.

Best pizza you'll ever have.
by DJMarsh17
We saw the restaurant featured on the food channel in 2007 and drove 145 miles from Kalamazoo Michigan to check it out. The pizza is AWESOME, the staff was good, the fixtures could use a dust rag, but the pizza is AWESOME. We have been back 3 or 4 times since then. Did I mention the pizza is AWESOME.
- Pros: The pizza is AWESOME
- Cons: Parking
Best Deepdish Pizza ever!
by paulied
First time I had My Pie was when I was 10 and they were in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. They left Minnesota about 15 years ago. I came out to Chicago and saw the sign for this place and had to come in and it was still the best deepdish ever I remembered the flavor of the sauce like it was yesterday. The pizza was so good I had to take back home with me a couple half baked pizzas in a cooler to Minnesota brought one home for me and one for my parents who loved it as well. When I am in Chicago this is the place I will go forget about the tourist places such as Uno, My Pie is where the true Deepdish is! I would drive another 6.5 hours for this place but not the chain pizza that is in downtown Chicago.
- Pros: Great Food pizza is worth waiting for.
- Cons: Pizza is little more $$ but worth it, parking limited in Lincoln park area
Best Deep Dish ANYWHERE
by kel232323
The sausage and mushroom deep dish is possibly better than s _ x! After 9:00 p.m., My Pie offers a carryout only special - buy one, get one of the same free. It's a little pricier than some pizza places but well worth it for the good quality sauce and other ingredients. Reheats nicely in the oven.
- Pros: Excellent deep dish, Carryout special, Crisp crust
- Cons: Parking
cozy and romantic

My husband and I were looking for a good pizza place in our getaway to Chicago. This spot was very romantic (while still being family-friendly...we noticed several kids) and the pizza was unbelievably tasty, without leaving indigestion afterwards! The service was personable and timely.
Very good for dine-in or carry-out!

Informal ambience, excellent thincrust pizza, inexpensive. A great value in a town known for pizza!
- Pros: Excellent Pizza, Inexpensive, Rapid Delivery
- Cons: No reservations., No Parking., None
This group-friendly pizza parlor in Lincoln Park specializes in stuffed pizza.

In Short
A throwback to '70s pizza joints, My Pie has dark-wood paneling, a central gas fireplace, and a loud, lively vibe. Pizza is offered thin crust or deep dish, but the specialty is stuffed spinach souffle. The My Pie special features sausage or pepperoni, green pepper, onion and mushrooms in a spiced, chunky tomato sauce. A salad bar is also available, as well as pasta dishes, burgers and appetizers.
- Pros: Great for families
- Cons: Parking is tough
My Favorite

Before I lived in Chicago, I would drive up from St. Louis just to get this pizza. It's the best pan pizza I've ever had. The sauce has lots of tomatoes and the crust is *gasp* CRISPY on the bottom! YAY!
- Pros: yummy
- Cons: closes too early!
Delicious!
