Or aspiring beer aficionado. We were there for a "beer fest" which was not as organized as it could be. But the selection was very good. This bar is not listed as a Belgian bar anywhere, but it's pretty close to bar's in other parts of the country that claim to be a Belgian bar. There was a downstairs and upstairs bar. They had Delirium Tremens on tap, and Rocheforte no 10 upstairs (rare find in any bar). It's sort of a mix of dive bar and a world of beer bar. Definitely worth checking out.
Pros: Beer selection
Cons: Rickity staircase

This is a fun place. They always have a drink on special for $2, and very often it includes import beers or Jack Daniels. The jukebox is without a doubt the best! They also have an old arcade game machine next to the stairs. The people are nice and friendly, but very often the place gets packed with a very young crowd. If you are looking to meet people 25+, this Delilah's would not be it.
Pros: Music, Drink specials, Athmosphere
Cons: Gets overly crowded, People are too young

This place is awesome! Mari and Jason are excellent bartpeople and are an asset to Delilah's!
Pros: Mari, Jason, Prices

This place rules. One of the best jukeboxes you'll find (and good entertaining DJs), unpretentious patrons, cool vibe, friendly bartenders and doorpeople, horrific B-movies on the monitor, and top-notch selection of suds and whiskeys. An anomaly in Lincoln Park and well worth the trip.

Delilah's is a one-of-a-kind Chicago bar. It features an amazing selection of liquors, beers (including lambics and imports), fun music and a very friendly clientele. This really is not a see and be seen bar. It is a bar for the low key alternative cool people who aren't into what you're wearing or how well you know somebody who knows somebody who shampooed Paris Hilton. There are a fair amount of tattoos and piercings, but plenty of others who fit right in with the mix. My favorite bar in the city. And drink prices are very low!
Pros: people, bartenders, atmosphere
Cons: can be crowded

Mike Miller{owner of Delilahs) and I have been beer lovers before Jimmy Carter's edict, and the wave of micro beer in the states(Premier Liquor in Tonawanda Saved Us). This dude will WOW you frequently, tickle you always, and direct you into the cool. Miller knows R&R and Sweet hop beverages better than your pretentious uncle or your "businessman cousin". Punk Rock and Quality do go hand in hand, liquor and guitar wise. keep on keepin on. B Flynn (Lake Placid N.Y.

Maybe it was the whiskey specials ($2) that kept me coming back-- or from leaving upright-- every few weeks. Then again, there are plenty of other reasons to love Delilah's: the music, the friendly crowd, the all-too steep stairs to the billiard room....Go after a concert at the Metro and to get to know your fellow concert goers (you know who they are by the wristband).

God how I used to love this place. The music is fantastic but the crowd is more of a yuppie Depaul crowd. Blah. I wish they would stay at Lucky Strike or somewhere in Lincoln Park. It used to be full of old school punks, now it's just frat boys and sorority girls who get drunk and fall all over each other.
Pros: great punk jukebox
Cons: YUPPIES!, PREPPIES!

Ive been here several times and every time the service was excellent. the liquor shelves are heaven also. I'm there before the crowd comes in but I've never felt out of place there. great place for even an over 40 to stop in and sample the selections.
Pros: beer, whiskeys, fair prices
