GREAT JEWELER and EXCEPTIONAL STAFF

I took my engagement ring and wedding band into Steve Quick Jeweler's to have it updated and redone. I was amazed by the level of service, Dana was exceptional in explaining different options and price points. By the time I left my ring with them I felt completely comfortable with my decision. They definitely under promise and over deliver - my ring was done earlier than had expected and was absolutely AMAZING. All of this at a very affordable price.

I would highly recommend Steve Quick Jeweler's!!

Wonderful Customer Service

We were referred to Steve Quick Jewelers , by friends and have worked with Dana . She patiently helped us design a custom engagement ring and wedding bands & has been such a great help with subsequent purchases. The entire store staff is so welcoming and helpful, we have never felt any pressure and it is a joy to browse through their beautiful selection of jewelry, rings, watches and pearls. We refer many friends to SQJ. It's great to work with Dana and to give our business to a local Chicago shop.

100% True to their word

I can say with the confidence of experience that SteveQuick Jewellers stick to their word and stand by their products. This review is a testimony to their service and good will and particularly to Sarah B whose dedication and consideration of the client was unfailing. I have never been moved to write a review before, but I felt that it was important in this instance to give Sarah B and the management team their due credit.

My fiance and I agreed to the purchase of a custom made diamond engagement ring and wedding band. Ultimately we only bought the band and not the engagement ring. But I hasten to add, throughout this period they remained courteous, patient and did what they could to find us a product we would be happy with, at a price we were comfortable paying. We left with a fair deal on the band and the knowledge that we can happily recommend their products and services to anyone else in the future. All the staff here were at all times welcoming, helpful and very pleasant. The lovely biscuits and the pet dogs in the store are a bonus!

Amazing Customer Service and Very Nice Items you can't find anywhere else!

Steve Quick is very knowledgable and takes the time to explain things to you about items. He and his staff are very welcoming and ready to show you different items and help you make decisions. I felt no pressure, only patience and information that helped me select my wedding ring. We even got my husband's wedding ring there as well since they did such a good job. I have gone back for other items as well. I trust their information and glad that I have an jeweler that I can go to with questions and suggestions. Thank you for keeping my mind at peace!

Very Friendly Staff and Great Prices! Best in Chicago!

I spent months searching loose diamonds on the internet, down on Jeweler's Row and at several engagement ring stores in the area trying to find a great deal. I finally made up my mind to purchase a diamond I found online because it was a great price and I was unable to find anything else like it.

I felt a little uneasy with an online purchase, so I took the stone into Steve Quick to have them appraise it and to build me a custom setting. Steve and his staff were extremely friendly and paid several compliments to the stone I had purchased. They did a wonderful job to reassure me that I made a good purchase and really set my mind at ease. Without being pushy at all, Steve asked if I would be interested in seeing comparable stones or if I would like to move forward with building a setting for the stone I already had purchased. I felt so comfortable with the store, that I thought it wouldn't hurt to let them try to help me. I really doubted that they would be able to find such a great stone at a price that could come anywhere near the price of the deep discount online retailers that can operate on much smaller margins. Boy, was I wrong!

The team at Steve Quick knew that I only had a short time to make a decision if I was going to return the stone to the online store. They did an excellent job of pulling together several similar diamonds and were very friendly in helping me determine the pros/cons of each option. All along the way, they were very nice and never tried to push me into buying one of their diamonds. I felt that they truly wanted me to make the decision that made me the most comfortable and were going to help me build a custom setting no matter what I decided.

In the end, they were able to find me an unbelievable diamond and gave me a great price! I brought in a few pictures of settings that I liked and they built me a completely custom setting that amazes everyone who sees it. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and my experience at Steve Quick!

The Real Deal!

I have been a Steve Quick customer for many years. My wife and I recently had our first child, and I scoured the Internet for the perfect "push present." I fell in love with a ring I saw online and then went to Steve Quick and asked if they could make it for me. The jumped at the chance, included me in the design process, and made the ring for me quickly, perfectly ... and for two-thirds of the price advertised online! And, just as importantly, the people at Steve Quick are amazing. I've had the pleasure of meeting Steve several times and working with Beth and Patti. All three are good, real people who value the relationship. This place is the real deal!

Best Jeweler in Chicago Area

I have been a customer of Steve Quick Jewelry since they were across the street over 17 years ago. I have bought many in stock items and also worked with them to design items for me from stones in my old jewelry. I can?t say enough good things about Patty Frey, the store manager, who I worked with to design my anniversary ring, reset my original engagement diamond into a necklace and rework my 15-year-old diamond tennis bracelet into a vintage-look piece. Designing my anniversary ring, which included a substantial stone increase and a hand engraved platinum setting, took a lot of work. Patty made this project a priority and helped me design a one of a kind ring that can?t be found in every bridal magazine. She has wonderful ideas and endless patience.

I receive many compliments on my jewelry; especially about it?s unique style. That style is attributable to Steve Quick Jeweler. Whether it is Patty or the owners, Steve and Melissa, everyone who works there understands that what you are buying is very important to you, no matter what the cost, and they want you to be happy with your selection.

Over the years, I have sent many colleagues and friends to Steve Quick when they are looking for something special, and they have also been very happy with the service. It is a great place where you can have someone help you (especially if you don?t know anything about jewelry) and not feel pressured to buy the most expensive item. They quickly understand your style and help you find what you are looking for. Patty, Steve and Melissa are wonderful and I would highly recommend Steve Quick Jeweler for your jewelry purchases. I would never go anywhere else, as I feel I have received great service and a competitive price (and they validate parking across the street so it is not an inconvenience for suburbanites to come to the Lincoln Park location).

We love Steve Quick Jeweler

All of the people at Steve Quick Jewelers are great, especially Dana O'Sullivan. My wife and I have been going there for almost three years and have bought numerous pieces including my wife's engagement ring and our wedding bands. My wife constantly gets positive comments about her jewelry, most of which Dana helped her pick out. The service is great. The sales staff are friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful, and most importantly they are not pushy like a lot of the vendors on jewelery row. I would not even think of going anywhere else and neither should you. As an added bonus, if you go on Sunday's there are cookies from Bittersweet!

• Pros: Helpful staff, great customer service, good value
• Cons: Parking can be tough, but they validate for the Lincoln Park Supermarket lot

Great Experience, Especially for the Un-Experienced

I bought an engagement ring from Steve Quick a few weeks before the holidays. I had been dragging my feet on going ring shopping... Not becuase I hadn't found the right girl, becuase I hadn't found the right jewlery store. We went to check out rings based on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed. Kalena helped me out along the way to finding the perfect ring for my fiance. I did not, in any way, feel pressured into a certain style, settting or diamond. I felt comfortable about asking tons of questions (sometimes more than once) and setting up multiple appointments. Kalena made one of the most important purchases of my life pretty easy and surprisingly fun. In the end I got the ring that I wanted for the price that I was looking to pay, can't ask for much more than that!

I <3 Steve Quick!

My fiance and I recently got engaged. For years I had seen Steve Quick's from the window of the #36 bus. I was always so taken with the sparkles in the window. As my boyfriend (at the time) and I were considering how to move forward, I knew that I had to go to SQ first. I met with Kalena, one of their fantastic Sales Assistants, and off we went. She was truly remarkable...absolutely the best customer service. She worked with us trying ring after ring after ring. She even tracked down a sample ring that was no longer made and got the company to send to us on loan for much longer than normal! After all of that, we decided to design our own rings based on a merging of all the things we had seen. Kalena walked us thru every step. I honestly felt like she really understood our taste, our ideas, and certainly our budget. After we got the first wax, she knew due to some of my specs that it wasnt exactly right. So, she sent it back...the wax was redone and it was PERFECT!!!

The stone, the smaller diamonds, the setting...all of it is really exquisite. I got exactly what I wanted and felt secure during the process. Not to mention they have two adorable dogs that hang out in the shop...how cool is that?!?

Everyone at SQ has been great. I am thrilled with my ring and will go back to buy my fiance's wedding ring and hopefully some wedding day gifts for ourselves.

One thing to mention...dont be intimidated by the buzzers on the door. Its for their safety and yours!! Oh and there is validated parking across the street at the grocery store.

I highly recommend Steve Quick!
