amazing salon :)

this is was my first time at robert jeffrey in lincoln park, i had visitied the halstead location but this location is my favorite! I went in for a cut and style with MARIE and she amazing! she is the first hair stylist who has listened to what i want! my hair cut is the best i have ever had and it is all because of marie. she listened to what i wanted and even gave me a full plan on what we are going to do to get my hair back to looking super healthy! i will continue to go there for their great atmosphere, which is fun and friendly and their nice stylish team members. If you are looking for a great hair cut at a full service salon with talented people go here! you will not be disappointed. i

You'll feel beautiful!

Looking for a great haircut? Ask for Rocky!! Not only does he do a great cut (and color), but he makes you feel like a long-lost pal the first time you meet...and a beautiful one at that. He asks you what you want and offers suggestions based on his expertise. Much appreciated! The atmosphere is classy and clean. The receptionists are competent and sweet. I typically don't do more than get my hair cut at a salon, but since I started coming here last year, I have happily purchased haircuts, colors, and brow clean-ups. Highly recommended...

Best Salon!

After trying many salons in Chicago, I have found one I will definitely be sticking with! Rocky has been cutting my hair for a year now and I have loved every single cut and color- he is fabulous! He is professional and listens to your concerns. The receptionists are always accomodating which can be difficult with my last minute requests! This location has been open for about a year, so everything is in great shape. The haircuts and very fairly priced and worth every penny!

Try them- you won't be disappointed!

Go with Rocky!!!

I have been going Robert Jeffery's for a little over a yr now and I love it!! They are very nice, accommodating and always have a friendly smile. Rocky is a great stylist. I have followed him from a prior salon and I would never go to anyone He is warm, kind, and knows how to do kick a** hair! Thank you Rock for everything you are the BEST!!!!

average salon, not so upscale

I had my hair done a some odd weeks ago and I have to say I was disappointed. My highlights seemed to still have roots because a week later they looked grown out already. they were also kind of orange. I read the reviews and thought this was going to be very posh and upscale salon but it's rather small and not very busy. At least that day wasn't. Now I know why. I overheard some stylists complaining as well, not something I want to hear while getting my hair done. I can stay at work in my office downtown and hear that all day. It had some nice things but not what I would call upscale. I've lived in LP for about 2 years and I think I will stick to the busier and more upscale part of LP.

Leja is a gem. This salon deserves more than 5 stars.

My experience with this salon was second to none. From my first phone call into them I was treated like gold. I had waited too long to get my hair cut and my schedule is so busy that I couldn't wait to get an appointment. I had to get my hair done that day and it was on the 4th of July holiday weekend and I couldn't get in anywhere! The receptionist at the Halsted location, Jesse, took such good care of me and made sure that I could be seen that day. I was sent to the location on Fullerton where fortunately for me they had one opening. How fortuitous that I got Leja. She was unbelievable!!!! First of all, she's so kind and very funny with a great, great personality but not overbearing. She is a listener and she went out of her way to make me happy. She did everything I asked. I had recently gotten a VERY bad cut elsewhere (no need to mention names) and I was so discouraged and was starting to think that I was just too old now (46) and that I could no longer get a cut that looked good on me. Wrong! I am THRILLED with my cut and that takes A LOT for me to say. It's a very trendy cut that shapes my face perfectly. I look way younger and I am getting tons of compliments. Leja really understood what I needed and delivered. I highly recommend this salon and you should feel confident about going to Leja. She is a gem.

Consistent, excellent service!

Jodi at the Fullerton Robert Jeffrey first started doing my hair 7 years ago. I have never walked out of the salon anything less than thrilled with both my cut and color. Very natural looking highlights. I moved away for a few years and used to plan a visit to see her when I was back in town. She is that good! The new location is great - easy parking, beautiful place, good hours, and very friendly staff.

Had answers to my questions

I am completely new at being girly, and with my wedding comming up I really wanted to get my hair back more toward it's natural color instead of the dark brown I dyed it on a whim a few weeks ago. The dark brown didn't take in some areas and my natural blond could be seen through and it had some light and some dark spots. It was really bad when I walked into Robert Jeffery to see what they could do for me. After a short consultation they helped me choose full highights to blend everything in and were even willing to stay open (past 9pm) until my hair was done and I was satisfied. Abby was amazing. She was a complete doll through the whole thing and really offered up some good opinions. Everyone there was super sweet and chatted me up and made it feel like the salons back home in my small town, like they already knew me and were family. I almost want to do something else to my hair just so that I can go back! Maybe a cut is in order....
