Dirty. The CVS around the corner is much nicer. Also be careful of towing, my fiancee parked in the lot, went next door to the bank and they towed his car. Too bad he was getting cash to go inside and pick up a few items. Never again

Illinois-based drugstore chain serves neighborhoods with fully stocked stores and modern amenities.. In Short
Founded in 1901 in Chicago by Charles R. Walgreen Sr., this neighborhood pharmacy has grown to be one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. Each store carries 25,000 different items--from cleaning products to electronics and greeting cards. Store features include a computerized system connecting pharmacies nationwide via satellite, grocery-store food aisles, one-hour photofinishing and an automated phone system for prescription refills and pre-arranged pickup times. Other services include in-store flu shots and childhood immunizations.

Wasting Time. I was filling a new prescription and they didn't have enough in stock so I would have to come back. I received a call 3 days later from them telling me my prescription was completed. I went back to get the rest of my prescription and it still wasn't ready. I had to wait 3 more days to get the rest of my prescription and when I finally came back to get it, it still took a half hour. They are extremely inefficient, but I guess that is expected from a chain!
