Wonderful service and excellent tailoring

I have been going to DeVrim on Southport for years. Alex, Figo and Nina are extremely nice and Nina is amazing at tailoring. I have taken many different types of things to her to get altered and every single time they are flawless. The staff knows everyone's names and make people feel welcome when they come to their store. They even have treats out for our furry friends! Highly recommended!

Avg Cust Svc - Bad Dry Cleaner

I tried these guys out because 1.)They are close to me, and 2.) They had so many good reviews. I don't believe these reviews, because after taking clothes there twice, I've noticed that my shirts do not seem clean, and they are not pressed, well, they have wrinkle spots in various places pressed into the shirts. Also, THEY TAKE OUT ALL OF YOUR COLLAR STAYS and DO NOT give them back to you. You have to pick up random shirt stays from their little basket.

• Cons: Bad Dry Cleaning - Steal Collar Stays

Superb alterations, great service and personnel

Expect to be greeted by Alex and Nina the minute you walk in to the place!! Alex is such a helpful person and, most importantly, he remembers your name!! Nina (I call her my personal tailor) has been doing alterations for me and she's doing a superb job!!

My girlfriends have been customers of Devrim Cleaners for over a year and have recommended this place for the best alteration service in Chicago. I had an important occassion coming up and my dress had to be altered. Therefore, I wanted the best tailor possible.... and I think, I found her. Nina exceeded my expectations!! She's definitely the best one I ever had!!! I'd highly recommend Nina to anyone who needs his favorite piece to be altered. Thank you, Nina!!! You're the best!!!

Best Boss and Cleaners

All these reviews are not fake, i have worked for him for about 6 months on Ada, he is very nice to every customer, and was the same to me. It is hard to make him mad and he always likes to joke around. Great Person. Great Store.

Negative reviews are not to be believed!

"Don't be fooled" has apparently not dealt with very many decent merchants as once you meet Figo, you see why he has so many positive reviews. He is truly a remarkably kind and caring man and he remembers his clients names and addresses them as so. What he offers is both RARE and GENUINE! I just sent my daughter from the Humboldt Park/Logan Square area to his Southport location for some tailoring she is seeking to have done. I am in sales and work with business owners. His business DNA should be cloned! It is the negative reviewer whose motive I question?!

Can't find words to describe how grateful I am for the job done by Nina! She's the best seamstress I ever had!!! Fast turnaround and best quality services!!! She's the only person I trust with altering my clothes! Nina, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Luv this place!

I brought my favorite dress in for alterations. Nina, seamstress, has done an excellent job! I highly recommend her services to someone who's looking for a right seamstress. Thanks, Nina! I'll be back again! :)

Loyal Customer

I had to write a review when I read the "review" by "Don't be fooled." It is obvious that this individual has never been to Devrim Cleaners. Both Figo and his manager Alex are truly friendly and kind and we are always very pleased with the way our clothes are cleaned. We had a particularly tough stain not come out and they insisted that they take it back and try again without my even asking. I know it may seem fake to have so many effusive compliments for a dry cleaners but after having gone there for years, I can tell you that these reviewers are being honest. Figo is a good man and he maintains a great business.

The Real Deal

At Devrim Cleaners, you start out by being a customer, then move quickly to being a friend and loyal supporter. Google Figo Topal, and see the unbiased editorial articles that have been written about him in the Trib and Suntimes The service is impeccable and WAY above and beyond. What other dry cleaner will open up on a Sunday just to help out a customer in a bind?--true story--or make a home delivery (which is not part of their service) to a sick customer? These are not slick, avaricious businessmen. Figo, Mina and Alex are the real deal, and that is a rare find.
