Expensive, but totally worth the price.

This place is expensive but totally worth it. My hair looks alot better then it ever has before. I guess you get what you pay for... If you try this place out, ask for Lauren, she is really really good and and really nice too.
Mixed feelings

Where do i begin, I have been going to my barber for 3 years, he is about the best in the city that knows how to cut my hair. He made me made by not showing up on time (x3) for my hair cut. I was a little reluctant finding a new shop so I called on Halo cause i remembered their marketing campaign at the bars in the area. I have to say i really enjoyed the experience but as soon as i looked in the mirror at home the experience wasn't worth the $40 +$10 tip. I asked for a fade but what i got was something totally different, my fade looked like a special education ceramic class bowl cut, not symmetrical at all. Now here is my dilemma, do i go to my Barber to get it fixed or wear a hat for the next two weeks.
Don't get me wrong, the girl was really nice with her conversation, and her head massage was out of this world. The hand massage was exceptional too, that is why i gave a generous tip.
I would like to go back and give the girl the opportunity to learn how to cut my head, that maybe a waste of time not to mention a little embarrassment when i show up to a business meeting and my hair has more going on then the tie that I wear
The 2 stars I give are for the tangibles that i received at the salon, I couldn't take my hair cut with me and that is, after all, what I went there for.
- Pros: head massage, hand massage, personalities,
- Cons: not the right stylist for my style of hair

HALO Rocks!

How many times do you walk into a salon and have an image in your mind of how you want your hair to look, and then walk out of the salon, and it looks exactly like what you pictured? Not very often if you ask me, but then again, my hair is my life, so go figure. Anyway, I brought in a picture from a magazine to Kristy of how I wanted my hair to look, and she did it exactly. So I just wanted to give her and Halo a shout out. Thanks guys! I would recommend this place to anyone.
- Pros: Very clean, extremely comfortable atmosphere, excellent service and prices.
- Cons: nothing.
Finally A Salon With Real Style
by beepers
Have a drink from the bar, watch some sports on one flat screens, catch up on some reading, relax during the hand and scalp massage.......oh, don't forget about the cut.
The stylists at Halo knew what I wanted and hooked me up to perfection. Kristy is amazing and she works magic with those scissors.
The folks at Halo make going to get a cut no longer a chore, but instead an experience I look forward to every two weeks.
This place rocks.
Hair Cut, FIFA, Girls, Can you beat it

Great place to relax and enjoy a hair cut. Stylists are great at their job and make the experience enjoyable. Atmosphere is perfect, went in for a hair cut and ended up watching Germany beat Argentina in PKs.
Men-only salon where luxe services include cuts, coloring and waxing.
by Jennifer Olvera
In Short
Not your everyday salon, men get cuts while watching a massive plasma TV that flickers with sporting events or guy-friendly films, flipping through Maxim, surfing the Internet or sipping a brew. Services offered include shampooing, cuts and coloring, plus mini facials and chest, back, neck, and eyebrow waxing.
seen it before

thought i'd give halo a try. Not bad, but seems to be a copy of all the Men's salons popping up, minus a good haircut. The stylist pulled out clippers to cut my hair. Could have gotten that at hair cuttery and saved $30. My suggestion, keep looking this is not worth the time.
- Pros: tv, space
- Cons: bad haircut, pricing
Advertisement is inconsistent with quality
by randyt
My wife surprised me with a hair cut at Halo. She purchased "the man" but the outcome was not consistent with their advertisement. The stylist was average, cut/shampoo/massage/treatment was 30min and the cost was well above average. I paid $40 for a 30min haircut that was no better than Cost Cutters. That's over $60/hr for a simple style and cut! I recommend going to a hair salon that is consistent with their advertising and uses better lighting with more seasoned stylists.
- Pros: -, -, -
- Cons: poor stylist, advertising, lighting
