If you are looking to achieve exercise while being highly entertained stroll through the LP Zoo. There are a plethora of types of animals to view. Not to mention this is a great atmosphere if you have kids.

we had a great time at the zoo...and i must admit it's nice to not have to actually pay for admission. but you wonder if they could charge people $5 or $10 they could actually make a decent living space for the animals. the poor leopard was literally pacing angrily back and forth in its 20 foot wide cage. i hope it only spends a couple hours in there a day...it's truly sad to see these beautiful animals living like that.

This is a wonderful way to spend from one hour to a whole day. Which can be repeated and you will still find it enjoyable as the first time.

Pros: Inexpensive, Good Parking, Not Crowded

The park was great, then they decided to make to many up grades. Which has left the zoo half empty. The zoo should be back to great look in the summer of 2003.

Pros: free, safe location, easy to get to

Cons: not alot of parking, half empty cages, to small in size

It's a nice zoo, but it's always insanely crowded everytime I go there. It's not fun if you're having to constantly deal with upset kids, even your upset kid, cuz of the crowds.

What could be a better value than free?! It's a beautiful park setting to walk through AND you get to stop along the way and view the animals. I had a lot of fun. Can't wait to bring my boyfriend along and try the swan-shaped paddle boats! ;)

Pros: Free, Beautiful

Cons: Crowded
