Great traditional german food

This is a very friendly place. The traditional german menu has many different selections. They have great daily specials as well. Many differnt beers that come in there own unique glasses. The staff is very friendly and informative. If you are in the mood for German food this is a must.
Get a taste of Bavaria, including a selection of German draft beers, at this North Center tavern.

Open since 1971, this German bar and dining room has a casual neighborhood feel, with cozy decor and friendly, opinionated servers. The menu offers generous portions of traditional German plates like Wiener schnitzel--veal scallop breaded and deep-fried to a crisp, golden brown. Other favorites include sauerbraten (marinated, browned beef roast) covered in a light gravy, and side dishes like sauerkraut spiked with bits of ham.
