Where is Tania???. I was a customer of Fases for several years and moved out of state for a while but return often to visit family. I went to Fases on my last trip back to Chicago in December and was told Tania was no longer there. I have to find Tania!!! She is the absolute BEST!!! I have never given so much trust to a stylist as I have to Tania. I could walk in and say "do whatever you want" and the cut ALWAYS looked fabulous. This woman is magnificent!!!

Never been there, but.... I was referred to a stylist at this salon by a good friend, but when I called to make an appointment with Jeffrey Benthusen, I was told he had an emergency or something and wasn't available. I tried a few days later and got the same answer.

I told my friend, Mary, about this, and she said that he'd gone to another salon a month or so ago, and she was sorry she forgot to tell me.

I read on Yelp that they used the same tactic with another person who called for another stylist who didn't work there anymore.

Tell the truth. Say they don't work there, don't lie about it.

Friendly expert colorists at a reasonable price!. When my previous hairdresser left the neighborhood a few years ago I went to Fases out of convenience first. Now I have been getting my hair cut and colored there for three years. Victor always takes the time to get expert color coverage and does a beautiful cut. I am never rushed through a job. It comes as no surprise now that so many of my neighbors and friends use Fases. We recommend them to guests at our B&B who are looking for Salon services that can be counted on at a good price. They will be opening a nail salon across the street from the Salon soon and I am certain they'll carry the same service and value to their new operation.…

Best Haircut in Lakeview. I've been going to Fases now for 4 years. Each time I go there I have the same great experience as when I got my first cut. Viktor (owner) is my favorite, he takes pride in his work and really listens to the style that you are looking for. Lots of waiting around even with appointment.. I was referred to this salon from a friend and was told it was not your typical salon which was an understatement. The environment is bizarre and the management is unprofessional, and everyone has an accent, not necessarily a bad thing with regards to the stylist?s. I only went to this salon two times to see Nevsy before I found a more convenient salon with stylist?s that didn?t keep you waiting over an hour after your scheduled appointment. If you don?t mind waiting this is the place for you, if not I wouldn?t recommend it. Intuition tells me everyone in this salon is talking about each other in their native languages, kind a turn off when everyone is speaking everything but English.…

great stylists(tania), reasonable rates, close to el.. I last lived in chicago 5 years ago; I have since lived on the east coast and in Indianapolis. To this day I still travel to chicago to get my haircut by Tania, she is the best. I am also amazed that the prices are as low as they are.
