The burgers are mediocre at best. The service is decent enough, but I can't get over how pretentious these wanna be bad-asses are. I guess it keeps with the clientele who think that wearing fingerless gloves and bandannas makes them bikers. There's no bikers here. Lots of frat boys with their hats turned backwards, though. I saw one guy pull up on a bike, and the manager ran outside to shoo him away from parking near the door (how stupid is that). This place was decent when it first opened (I lived in the area before relocating to San Francisco) but it's really gone downhill. The bloody marys here come with some sort of meat salad thrown in and are absolutely undrinkable. They should concentrate more on the poor food than gimmicky concoctions that'll be sure to give you heartburn. I wouldn't recommend this awful place to my worst enemy.
Pros: there's much better places to eat nearby
Cons: just about everything here

Went to this place on a Sunday for Brunch. Service was mediocre at best, food was good until three of the four people in our party noticed there was HAIR IN OUR FOOD. We tried to blame it on the fact that we were sitting on the roof top deck and it must have blown into to 75% of our meals. Will not go to again. I gave it two stars soley because I want to believe had we sat inside there would have not been any hair in our food.
Pros: Nice roof top deck, good drinks, food when it is hairless
Cons: service, hair in food, pretentious attitudes

average burger (and overpriced), seemed dirty, and there were a lot of people working yet only one seemed to be doing any work.

How this even managed a to be rated is amazing. Cute beer botle salt & pepper shakers with rusty caps. And it never got better. The hamburger was on the low side of OK. Voting was skewed or somebody got paid. NO STARS HERE!

the best burger I have ever had. The sauce is just incredible. It is big enough to share with a friend

This bar is full of mid level folks pretending to have cash and ride motorcycles. Guys - stop shaving on Thursday so you can have that biker scruff by Saturday night and take your 3 year old motorcycle with a whopping 1700 miles (HA HA , ride ever?!) and fake being a biker. Ladies, just show up and pretend to find any of this life interesting or "cool". When people aren't busy pretending they're cold and shallow. What happened to this place?! Years ago it was a great bar full of real people who actually rode bikes. I guess the fact the Discovery channel (and many others) make bikes look great has brought this place down. Don't waste your time here.
Pros: it's a bar
Cons: , expensive, no ladies

My husband is a Harley nut and I wanted to surprise him with a dinner out at the Twisted Spoke. My initial reaction was it was cool to see all the old harleys, but it was kind of dumpie looking. We ordered ribs and they were the BEST ribs we've ever had! Definitely worth it and a great price! We will definitely go there again on our next visit to Chicago.
Pros: Yummy food, Unique, Great prices

This is nothing more than a trendy River West extension of River North pretension. Gives the illusion of being a biker bar, but is really just a higher-priced diner with beer and kitsch.
Pros: good portions
Cons: bad food, ridiculous 'image'
