Disappointed-Worst Greek Restaurant in Chicago. It was disgusting bland greasy food-- outdated restaurant just like their menu. The restaurant was empty on a Friday night and now I know why. Bad energy- dirty floors, and the bathroom were dirty while the restaurant was empty.

The only thing good was the hummus and that's not even greek. Saganaki was so greasy while the calamari smelled so not fresh. They are thieves, they OVERCHARGE you and later play it off. And the owner even got mad at us- and told us to never come back if we did not like it. WE WILL NEVER WILL GO BACK. Absolutely terrible-

best greek food period,. I ordered food because they were close and I REALLY didn't want to drive to hubs on lincoln ave. The gyros sauce was 100 times better, the food was 100 times better and I ordered 100.00 worth of food for lunch dinner etc. FANTASTIC FOOD. BETTER THAN GREEK TOWN. Greek town at lawrence, used to be in the neighborhood 40 yrs ago, and they are back on the road again. REAL GREEK FOOD. I MEAN TRUE GREEK.

Waste of money and time!!!!. I have been there a few times and food was never good so I stopped going. It's never fresh, it tastes like its out of can. Also, employees are not really friendly. It seems like the place hasn't been updated for a long time. It looks old and ugly.

another great lincoln sq eatery. The restaurant was large and looked like it was set up for a wedding with a large dance area and smaller eating areas raised and off the side. The broiled calamari was really impressive. There was a truly unique Greek pasta that was simple and delicious. Their spanakopita was not the tiny store-bought triangles, but was a 3X5" spinach pie with a hint of dill. And rounding out the phillo experience, the baklava was not overly sweet or heavy. The owner took great pride in telling us that it was all home made. And as an added bonus, they had a good wine list!

Disappointed. We visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and had an average meal for three of us. The restaurant was not busy and the waitress was attentive up until I found a centipede in my espresso. We were compensated for the espresso, but it really makes me wonder about the health conditions of the rest of the place. Obviously I will not be going back again.

DONT NEED GREEKTOWN!. This restaurant really needs to advertise itself a little more!! I was invited to Barba Yianni by a friend who dines frequently there, and now I will be a regular. The restaurant is divided into several sections, each complementing its own special ambiance. The food was delicious. You must try the saganaki, which the waitress informed us that their secret ingredient is the Kefalograviera cheese itself, rather than the casseri cheese that most Greek restaurants use. We also tried the broiled octopus, whole red snapper-delicious- and the thin-cut lamb chops(to die for)!!! And its not even Greek town... Compliments to the chef and owners!!!!

PERFECT!. The food was excellent! The music was fun. Romantic atmosphere if you ignore the TV's at the bar. The neighborhood is great to walk around before or after dinner.

Greek specialties save Lincoln Square residents a trip to Greektown.. In Short
Don't be fooled by the worn exterior; packed with chatty locals, this tavern sparkles with white-washed walls and brightly painted renderings of Greek island towns. The menu includes dishes like bougiourdi (melted feta cheese atop sliced tomato and green peppers), lamb chops and spanakopita, plus seafood plates like whole red snapper and whole sea bass.
