The Scene
Anchoring a new big-box strip mall, this super-sized golf store provides acres of sidewalk window space in an area where nobody's on foot. Inside it's bright and spacious, organized into sections for men's, women's, and juniors' apparel and shoes, cart bags, putters, and a large selection of irons, woods, and wedges. The center of the store holds accessories, balls by the pallet, and golf-themed gifts.

The Goods
Look for names like Callaway, Taylor Made, Ping, and Titleist, Nike and Etonic shoes, as well as a quality store brand. A variety of used clubs are also for sale, and the service department offers the gamut of reconditioning work. In order to aid in your selection, the store provides an artificial practice green and a computer-aided indoor driving range.
