best Pilates experience I've had
by LuF
I've done both classes and privates here for about two years. Even though it takes me nearly an hour to get to Harmony, I always make time to go back every week because I can't imagine what would happen to my body (and mind!) if I didn't do this regularly. It has literally put my body back in line (and no more lower back pain). The teachers here are so amazingly knowledgeable, experiences, and sensitive. They are so dedicated to what they teach and give super-focused attention to each and every client. I feel like I get a LOT for my money in classes and privates at Harmony.
- Pros: amazing teachers and effective workouts

I have been going to this studio for several years. The staff and instructors are of the highest quality and the studio is warm & inviting. I highly recommend Harmony as your Pilates studio.
- Pros: Lovely space and skillful instructors.
- Cons: None!
Fantastic staff
by pilateslover
I had never taken pilates before and I found the staff and especially my trainer to be extremely attentive to my needs!! They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and capable. Very focused on helping you do the exercises the right way and making sure you know what you are doing.
Anybody at any level who wants to take pilates should definitely look into this place.
Highly Recommend
- Pros: Attentive staff, great for first timers
- Cons: None

I would advise you to be careful when working with this studio. They over billed me for my visits. It might be best to find a more ethical place to work out.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Overbilled me
Best Pilates Studio in the City!!
by kmcm01
I started going to Harmony three months after I had my first child. With their expert guidance and training, I quickly regained my strength and pre-baby body. I was hooked. I have continued being challenged by their trainers for two years, even throughout my second pregnancy. I can now say that I have never been more in-tuned with my body, nor have I enjoyed workouts more. I couldn't reommend Harmony Mind and Body Fitness more!
- Pros: Educated instructors, clean studio
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?
Awesome Pilates Studio
by eCHy
I was introduced to pilates by my fiance and am now going at least twice a week to Harmony. I take private pilates sessions, mat classes, haven't tried the reformer class yet, but I will, and my new favorite is gyrotonics. I've worked with most of the instructors, and met them all, they are friendly and helpful, and really know how to customize a work-out for me.
The place is clean and charming, in the heart of Lincoln Park, right off the Armitage brown line stop, and you can't beat 3 private sessions for $150!
- Pros: Easy to get to with public transportation
I LOVE this place
by RosieRose0710
I really have never been into excersizing, especially in a group setting, until I started doing pilates. Everyone here makes you feel comfortable and welcome; everyone knows your name. I don't feel self conscious about my ability level. The classes are small and fun. I actually look forward to working out now!
I love it here!

Staff is so friendly and professional- I feel like I'm in good hands with any instructor. The class sizes are small and intimate, so you really get personal attention. I recommend a combination of mat classes and private lessons to really get quick results and good form. I love this place- I hate gyms and excercising but I go here five times a week. It's so relaxing and fun!
- Pros: Small classes, Great instructors, Nice equipment
- Cons: Expensive

The teachers at Harmony are certified and experienced. I've tried other studios, but I love the professional, yet warm staff. And the space is beautiful! I feel rejuvenated every time I finish a session.
- Pros: awesome teachers, warm and inviting, great class schedule
