I love Augies for many reasons. The food there is really good and there is so much to choose from. They serve far more than your average diner. Their menu selection is wonderful, and they always have a daily special. I have to admit that my favorite is the liver and onions mmmm........

Classic Neighborhood Diner

Augies is your basic coffee shop/diner. Super cheap and pretty friendly. It feels like the place has been around forever and looks like they haven't renovated since the 60's.

Also I've had a crush on the eastern european waitress who served me when I first went there about a year ago. =)

• Cons: closes early

A Neighbourhood Mainstay

I've been eating at Augie's for well over 30 years and I am never disappointed. The owner's daughter knows me by my first name. It is just one of the many reasons I feel at-home at Augie's.

Whether you have a taste for a burger or a juicy butt steak, this neighbourhood restaurant will make your tastebuds smile. Not to mention your wallet. It's also a great value.
