The Scene
Full of light and fruity colors, Kachi Bachi shows off the handiwork of designer Claudia Pareja Ahuile, known for her window treatments and bedding. Ahuile opened her upscale home decor store as more of a mini-showroom than retail outpost, but it has become a little of both. Clients typically get ideas in the store and get help with custom creations suited to their personal tastes. Consultants are also quick to chat about materials and design schemes--they can also do in-home consultations.

The Goods
Talk about home accessories that have been touched by the female hand; flowers, whimsical buttons and ribbons galore grace many items. Girls who go ga-ga for fabrics will love the full bedding sets and throw pillows, made of exotic linens that put plain ol' cotton to shame. Bathroom accents include rose-adorned shower curtains and quirky little Kleenex box covers in a range of colors.
