Consistently delicious

Nookies is one of my favorites - good, affordable food and a laid-back atmosphere. The service and the food are reliable - taste is consistent from visit to visit and it's always an enjoyable experience. There are interesting food options on the menu that I like to try out once in a while for something new. Soup is exceptionial, as well as the breakfast foods.

I've been to Nookies several times, always with someone from out of town, and everyone I take wants to go back. I love this restaurant. Their CranApple pancakes are the bomb. The Southwestern omelette is also very good. I enjoy the numerous vegetarian options on the menu, and the staff is extremely friendly (and good-lookin'). Their prices are reasonable, and their food has never been less than delicious! I highly recommend a visit!

Best omelette. Great customer service. Open 24 hours but they don't deliver. It's worth the visit.
Great cheap eats

This is one of my favorite neighborhood diners, and you can get some great food for really cheap. The service can be kind of random, particularly during off hours (like between meals), but people there are generally pretty friendly. Order off the seasonal menu -- I always try their different offerings (like special autumn pancakes or a seasonal veggie fritatta), and I've never been disappointed.

Nookie's Tree restaurant has always been my favorite cafe. They are a BYOB establishment, though I have yet to drink there. The food is freshly prepared and always cooked to order. On the weekends, they are open 24/7!

I've eaten here dozens of times. It is a wonderful choice for a weekend breakfast with friends. I love that they have at least a dozen different omlettes and I recommend the breakfast burrito.

Bruch or lunch, this is the place. In the heart of Boystown you get service, location, and good food. Try the omlettes or eggs. They are light and fluffy with great added ingredients. Not interested in brunch? Try lunch and all of its diner-like assortments. Prices here can be a little high and so can the wait-especially on Sundays for breakfast. Also, they don't take credit card for payment. There is an atm outside the door--but it charges high fees. Be prepared with cash!
PROS: Food, location, servers
CONS: do not take credit card
Casual, late-night B.Y.O.B. eatery draws a barhopping Boys Town crowd.

In Short
Considering the concentration of bars and clubs in this neighborhood, good spots to grab a late-night bite are surprisingly hard to come by, so it's no wonder that Nookies Tree has been packing them in for more than 30 years. Breakfast is the big meal here, served all day and featuring an variety of morning favorites, like feta omelettes, French toast and waffles. Lunch and dinner options include burgers, salads, pork chops and spaghetti.
- Pros: open all night on weekends
- Cons: not much ambiencefood not great

This was a regular stop for me when I lived in the neighborhood and after eating dozens of omletes there I have never once been disappointed. Great service, a good atmosphere, easily seated, etc. There is parking in the back or next door, I think.
Awesome!
- Pros: awesome, awesome, awesome
- Cons: none
