Enjoy yourself!. I have visited this restaurant with my wife to eat-in 3 out of the last 4 Sunday evenings. Excellent service, clean, nearly full tables, waitress speaking good English, and OUTSTANDING pizza! I have traveled extensively across the country over the last 40 years and this is one of the 2 pizza establishments in the city I recommend to others. Enjoy!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...NOT ECO-FRIENDLY!!!. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE....ordered a deep dish pizza and when I went to pick it up the girl at the counter got my last name wrong. After waiting 20 minutes the manager came over and said I paid the wrong receipt and I owed an extra $7.00 the whole time my pizza was sitting there...she told me the girl at the counter was a FOREIGNER and therfore heard my name incorrectly... HOW INSULTING TO THE WORKER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, they need to go "GREEN"... not at all eco-friendly with the styrofoam plates, cups, plastic forks and knives that couldn't possibly cut the deep dish pizza anyway...get a DISHWASHER foks! For the price you pay you could go to almost any pizza joint in the city, get as good or better pizza and actually eat it on a "real" plate with people that appreciate their staff!!!!

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MANAGEMENT AND FOOD QUALITY. EXCEPTIONALLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had issues with a pizza as it was not made as ordered. Spoke to manager (Oya) who offered nothing but an appology. Pizza was unedible. In a city that has MANY choices for quality Chicago style pizza, Ginos East now rates last in line to me and my family. I spent $30 on a pizza that is now in the garbage. Next time I will take my business to Uno , Do, or Lou Malnatis.

Fantastic pizza. What else?. Overall, if you want great, and I mean great, deep dish pizza, it's hard to go wrong with Gino's East. Having tried the deep dish pizza of several Chicago establishments, I can say fairly confidently that Gino's tops my list. The editorial review sums up this location fairly well. BYOB, plastic utensils, great corn meal crust deep dish pizza. This is a small location that seats about 30-40 people. I've yet to sample their other dishes. Until then, viva la deep dish! (Note- rating reflects more on dining environment and not on the food. The DD pizzas get a "9" in my book.)

The pizza is legendary, and this Lincoln Park location is a neighborhood-friendly B.Y.O.B.. In Short
This small satellite of Gino's in River North features a free B.Y.O.B. policy, but Chicago-style pizza is the main draw. The signature pies have light, crispy cornmeal crust and slices so big it's difficult to stretch your mouth around them. Toppings like spicy crumbled sausage complement the tomato sauce and mozzarella. Sandwiches, thin-crust pizza and generous portions of pastas are also available. Service is economical, right down to the plastic plates and forks.
