Great place except for the door man
by tpaitalian
This is a great place to have fun and meet people. Clientiele is much friendlier than in the other bars.
Bartenders are nice, but they could do without the door man though. He seemed to care more about a transvestite who wanted my chair then about me a good paying customer and he asked me to move. He could have told this person since he/she left their chair for a while that they needed to find somewhere else. The door man has been less than friendly other times I have visited Chicago. Who needs him?
- Pros: Fun, friendly place to meet people
- Cons: The Door Man

I have meet great friends there. Any music to you want to listen to. Dif. not a tweeenky bar. Little Jim's is often put down because it is real and not plastic.
- Pros: Good Music selection
- Cons: stupid people.
Not good for ANYONE.

If you want classy, you are in the wrong place. This bar is bare bones, no frills Drinkin' and cruisin'. It is a great place to hook up (after 2/3a.m) when the 'early' bars close. Other than the late late hours.. SKIP IT.
- Pros: great location
- Cons: a haven of HIV,STDs,late stage alcoholism and substance abuse

Little Jim's, or LJ's as we local boys call it is an establishment! Go there, just to go there. It is very cruisy. You can hook up at noon or 4 AM.
Go to the bartender in the back, he can always feel you in.
- Pros: Cruise, In the Mix, Better than Bucks
